Hey, what whey do you guys reccomend for me? I've been getting the one at wal-mart up untill now, but I usually eat whole food.
What are the cheapest kinds that don't suck?

Whey is whey in terms of quality, especially if it doesn't cause gastric upset. But if you can find something cheaper or something you like better go for it. I recall Body Fortress being pretty damn cheap.
The best tasting as well as best mixing whey I've found is the Earthfare store brand, but most people here wouldn't have access to that. It comes in chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry.

Recipe.... Very easy ->
0.5 cups wholemeal flour
1 cup briefly ground oats
0.5 cups oat bran
4 scoops banana nut protein powder
2 GOOD teaspoons baking powder
0.5 teaspoon baking soda
1.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
0.25 teaspoon ground ginger
3 medium extra squidgy nanas (mashed)
3 large egg whites
1 (Aussie) tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Squeeze of lemon juice (I also add a good scrape of rind too)
Directions are really easy -
Set oven to ~ 180 degrees C
Combine dry.
Whisk wet.
Fold dry into wet (not too much).
Spoon into a lined bread tin.
Bake for ~ 45-60 minutes (should be springy and a skewer should come out clean).
And if you want macros - 5 serves (one for breaky each day of the week):
~ 360 Cals
~ 50g Carb (7g fibre)
~ 25g Protein
~ 7.5g FatLast edited by Emma-Leigh; 09-16-2008 at 04:52 PM.
