In my opinion, Brock shouldn't be allowed to fight in the UFC. He's made weight, sure, but he is like the only person in that upper weight class, and he is also a genetic freak. In my opinion, he just has too much of an unfair advantage in strength to be truly considered 'competitive'.

wtf you talking about, he's in the HW class, granted he's at or above the limit when he fights, but there is no Super HW in the UFC.

Using that logic anybody who cuts to make weight shouldn't be allowed to fight in their respective weight class since they will put on 10-15 pounds come fight time.

If anything he should have never been allowed in the UFC because he had almost no MMA experience. But everyone knows it's a buisness.

brock lesnar is the first person to ever cut weight
GSP, fitch, and alves are all natural 170'ers
anderson silva never gets higher than 185 pounds
glieson tibau is a legit 155
seriously all these other fookers do it, but you get butthurt when brock does it LOL didnt you hear joe rogan brock is the reason all these bit<hes better cut to 205. fedor better think of cutting to 205 cause 2 years from now when brock rounds out his game he will crusj the last emperor.. all these heavyweights better start training their diets so they can fight 205 cause brock owns anyone 206-infinity in about 3 years time

That's why Anderson Silva just fought at 205 and didn't have to bulk right? The best Weightlifting forum on the web:

i think brock can be a legit fighter but i see your point. even though me "makes" weight, he was still like 15lbs heavier than herring right? IMO he needs to cut down a little further to at least be fair to his opponent...

OP, yes he should be allowed. He does what he needs to get there. Also, penalizing him for being a "genetic freak" is not even fathomable.
On that note, even though it's not possible, I'd just as soon have some rule saying that fighters must fight at their natural weight. The fact that EVERYONE cuts means that there's no true advantage for anyone. The playing field is still level. That being said, I'd like fighters to go in at a natural weight, with better energy levels because of it, so the fights would only grow in entertainment quality. That, and I don't think 10 pounds difference, especially at that level, is really that big of a deal anyway.

10 lbs means a hell of a lot less at HW than it does at LW, too.

Ya, I see your point.
If a fighter makes a bad cut it can definitely ruin his performance and the entire fight from an entertainment standpoint. But most of the guys at the professional level have it down to a science so the weight cut doesn't take much (if any) toll on their strength or energy.

If you refer to a fighter who you've never met in real life as "my boy" as though their performance somehow reflects well on you for simply being a fan, you're a lame ass.

The HW class is 205-265, he fits in that class, he has as much right to fight in the UFC as any of the fighters.

In my opinion, some people shouldn't be allowed to post on these boards. He's registered, sure, but he is like the only person in his own little world, and he is also an illogical freak. In my opinion, he just has too much of an idiotic train of thought to be truly considered 'intelligent'
