I'm just not sure how I feel about eating with my plate right next to bare feet. Feel like some foot dust might flake off in that bich

The bare feet don't bother me, it just doesn't seem comfortable.
I just like to eat and get it over with. A lot of the time I stand while eating. Especially hate sitting for long periods of time at a dinner table or restaurant. My food is finished, now let me move on to do other things, idc about the conversation.

In traditional Japanese culture, they eat sitting on the floor. Same with the Koreans, since Koreans love to immitate Japanese, they too eat on the floor in traditional settings.
Same in Indian cultures. In the Middle East they do this as well.
The ancient Romans didn't eat sitting on the floor, they did however eat while laying on couches, or rather it was the upper class Romans who ate laying sideways on couches. It was a practice they adopted from the Greeks. The pleb Romans usually ate at small tables.Everything I post is satire.
