Dogcel. I grew up with dogs, I love dogs and they seem to love me. Even though I don’t own one right now, man’s best friend holds a special place in my heart srs.

I actually hate cats. For one, I’m allergic to them, but I’ve noticed if I meet someone who owns a cat, there’s a decent chance I won’t get along with them. There are exceptions as I have some friends who are cat owners, but there is something about the average catcel personality that doesn’t mesh well with mine.

Out of all the animals you listed dogs will show the most unconditional affection and are always happy to be around you. Cats to a lesser extent but the rest you can’t really do much with

I'm both but I cant own a dog that I'd want. Like a German Shepherd. Not enough property to let them play.

I love ferrets too and owned them once but they chit literally everywhere. Ex gf got them in the divorce

What do you do with ferrets, anyway? Do they insist on being out of cages all the time, and do they just chit and piss wherever?

I attempted establishing a routine with them. Tried training them. But ended up they prefer to sleep in the laundry, always had to check. They still enjoyed their cage and mostly chit in there

They get fixated on certain things. Bonnie liked anything rubber and would steal it. She found a way to push herself up against a wall next to the counter and climb it to steal the rubber dish washing gloves. Clyde liked all my belts and would drag them deep into the closet.
