Tasted a fresh habanero pepper for the first time....

Chopped one up to cook with my ground beef for my tacos. I usually use serrano peppers but decided to get something with more of a kick. Chopped into the habanero then smelled it. Was disappointed at first because it had no kick and just smelled like a bell pepper. Then I licked my fingers, tasted nothing for the first 5 seconds. Then... holy fuk. My body is fkn sweating af rn. The end.

How much do u have? If ur cooking a lot of food u wont feel the habaneros as much.

just 1 habernero. I threw out like half of it. cookin for 1 meal which comes out to 4 tacos

Just take out the seeds and membrane and then chop it really small and add to the ground beef should give you a kick, but only had one to yoru taco meat

Also becareful if you fry it in a pain your eyes will swell up and water, I fried some hot peppers one time and breathed the smell in and my eyes started burning it was like I was hit with pepper spray
