Landlords are raising rent because property taxes, bills, repairs, maintenance and the overall cost of living went WAY THE FUK UP
We can't even raise the rent much higher to offset the cost of living (because renters are even more poor now) and we're actually making less money than we did a few years ago

You have wealthy people on social media telling the common folk not to buy a home while they are buying houses and renting them to you.
You have the common folk screwing you over to pay their mortgage off and pay for their vacations while you are eating fastfood and have no money to go out on dates.

I dont think people realize the scale of just how many people are coming in. they are bringing in the population size of 2 chicagos per year into this country of 75IQ migrants
there is no possible way to bring down ur rents boyo, or houses unless there is mass deportations of post 1965 migrants.
When we get into power, we will need to send them all back. the 1965 immigration act is null and void since it was written by jews and all of them need to go home.

a cheap but decent 1 bedroom apartment is only bout 900-1100/mth
youre telling me 1500/mth mortage + insurance/prop tax is cheaper? 1500/mth is only a 300k loan with a big down payment too and 300k is gonna get you waht? a 2 bedroom 1 bath starter home? (im talking bout in the city)
if you buy a super cheap home thats probably 80+ years old - than youre gonna have high af utility and maintenance bills
plus they raise your property taxes every year too

In Arizona there is a ring of apartment complexes that purposely increased rent across the board across the state that drove prices up for everyone. They made a news article on it. Grimey sht if you ask me.

I think it’s probably pretty common to rent at a technical loss for normal landlords who take on a mortgage and don’t put a huge amount into the down payment to reduce the biweekly/monthly payments.
I’m renting out a house for $2500 right now and it costs more than that for the mortgage + property tax + utilities, but I’m not relying on it for income. One day it will be paid off and producing almost pure profit, or I’ll sell it and scoop up the extra cash that has been paid down by renting it out as it also appreciates in value over time.

Homeowners that rent out their stupid homes for stupid amounts have no idea what's coming to them. Worldwide recession is coming and these greedy jerks will be forced to either pay all their rental properties' mortgages themselves for 5-10 years or foreclose. The disinflation meltdown will be glorious. Then I will swap some of my gold and silver for these houses for pennies on the dollar.
