still a lot of reps. 333 reps if you do that every single day of the month without rest days. Since you probably do take rest days, then daily number is probably in 500-600 range.

I am doing high reps routines all the time, 300 reps+ for a workout , but at least I rotate muscle groups.

I've done 100000 in 10 days. 1000 a day multiple time. Weight 55 up to 88. Hands get a little chewed up and it takes about 60-75 minutes a day, but it's a winning program.

I sometimes will do a 500 rep kettlebell swing workout though, doing 2-12 clapping pushups or weighted jumping squats in between the sets of kb swings. Doing the jumping squats in between is a gasser, especially toward the end.

And yes, reps that high are instantly dumb. Good job putting 20 years of wear on your joints in a single month, where there is also zero time for the body to rest, recover, and build itself stronger to adapt.

Maybe I should incorporate jumping squats into my kettlebell cardio. I alternate kb swing/burpees and jump rope right now.

Feelz good afterward. By the time you're nearing 500 swings and 100 weighted jumping squats and so long as your breaks aren't long it feels a lot like a moderate session of training for the 400-800m in track.

I've always been a fan of weighted jumping squats. If I do a workout that doesn't feel like it was hard enough, I'll do a few sets of them, 15-20 reps each round to make the workout feel more complete.
