still a lot of reps. 333 reps if you do that every single day of the month without rest days. Since you probably do take rest days, then daily number is probably in 500-600 range.
I am doing high reps routines all the time, 300 reps+ for a workout , but at least I rotate muscle groups.
Who invented tis dubious routine?

I started last year and tried following the dudes that seemed like they had their stuff together but then I found this dude:

I've started the challenge a few times, but always got bored with it after a week or two. I sometimes will do a 500 rep kettlebell swing workout though, doing 2-12 clapping pushups or weighted jumping squats in between the sets of kb swings. Doing the jumping squats in between is a gasser, especially toward the end.

Feelz good afterward. By the time you're nearing 500 swings and 100 weighted jumping squats and so long as your breaks aren't long it feels a lot like a moderate session of training for the 400-800m in track.
I've always been a fan of weighted jumping squats. If I do a workout that doesn't feel like it was hard enough, I'll do a few sets of them, 15-20 reps each round to make the workout feel more complete.Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!
