Hate kids crew .
About a decade ago I met my neighbours friend at Christmas dinner , a struggling single mom she had met from church .
I ended up buying her twin daughters each an iPad 11” , as they used to visit the local library to use them on Saturdays but they kept on getting stolen ,so they had no access to a tablets anymore .
I stepped up and purchased one for each of them ,as all their friends had tablets and I didn’t really want these girls falling behind tech wise , as that’s where the world seems to be heading .

That was a few years ago , and recently the mother mentioned the one daughter’s bicycle was too small for her and she was hitting her knees on the bars . She wasn’t in any way hinting that she wanted me to buy her one daughter a bigger bike, just an observation.
Well the bike had 20” wheels , and was far too small for a ten year old .
So last month we went shopping , and I didn’t feel right about buying one daughter a new bike and not the other , so I purchased two bikes with 27.5 wheels for them , hydraulic disc brakes etc , didn’t cheap out .
The mom freaked out , and didn’t want me to do it,but I really felt compelled to do something , as they really didn’t have any other options .

Anyways these people have sort of given my life purpose . Gen is 20 years younger than me , so there is no romance here , just friends basically.
I had to lol as I just found out I’m 10 months older than her mom .
I don’t want anything out of the deal other than seeing the mother and daughter happy on occasion, and getting a hug from the girls in appreciation is payment enough .

Pics of the twins today actually. They were born on Valentine’s Day one minute apart . As I get to know them more it’s actually hilarious observing their different personalities .
