I've seen a lot of states with the tags. Mississippi gives you two. One you pay for and the other is free. I have three vehicles. One is like a "work" truck with the paid PH tag. My wife's 2023 Jeep Compass has the free PH tag. I also have 2022 Silverado that has a 100% DAV tag. Mississippi gives you an almost free 100% DAV tag too. I pay like $50 a year between the three vehicles. It would probably cost about $1200 to $1500 a year for tags otherwise.

I have no clue about this process but just out of curiosity I'll check it out.
I'd presume one would have to prove they are truly a recipient....as in, showing a valid DD214.

Yeah, I had my permanent orders showing I was recipient. I'd imagine a DD214 would work, as long as the PH was shown on there.
