There has not been another Jordan. Who knows if there will be.
He is the best thing to ever happen to the league. You can dispute whether you think James is the better player. You can't dispute that Jordan is the standard.
10 years from now the nex big name post James era will be compared to......Jordan.

05-22-2024, 07:45 AM #31The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

Didn’t read entire thread so maybe this was already said, but people always forget the rule changes from Fedor’s peak to the current era, it was 10x more brutal back then and today’s fights are nothing like that.
Doubt we will ever see another Fedor or Jordan srs, microplastics have obliterated test levelsCoincel

Mgannou would not be a favorite vs any of fedors top opponents at their peak, big nog, crocop, probably would get leg subbed by Barnett too, prime Alex ktfo Francis also. And fedor played with Alex. Fedor used to box world champs in training and k1 champs and Olympic wrestlers and muay thai champions. You are just young. lol it’s ok. You’ll calm down. You are just impressed because you only saw all this like in the last 5 years.
The reason you feel that way about Fedor versus Francis is because Fedor doesn’t look intimidating, if he was looking like crocop with muscles and low bodyfat, and sending everybody to the hospital with one high kick, you wouldn’t say nonsense like that lmao
Hw Division has been dead for a long time, like in boxing, these people today are an absolute joke compared to the golden age of pride division, that’s why it’s called golden age of MMA.
You just saying the same thing that people who don’t know anything about martial arts say about Bruce Lee beating everybody, you saying exactly the same thing, you just saw something on TV, then you made something up in your head, and you posted here, but you have never sparred with any of these people, you have no idea, almost every single MMA fighter puts fedor as the greatest of all time, certainly among heavyweights.

You’re buying into the evolution of MMA narrative, it doesn’t work like that, at most fed would have to watch a couple of modern fights and have a couple of training sessions to catch up, we gotta listen to the professional fighters, bro, when you start training and sparring your opinion on everything changes completely,
Fed was similar to Haku in pro wrestling, when someone wanted to fight him, it wouldn’t be about who is a better fighter, because there would be no fight, Haku would just bite their nose off,
Jordan was like that in basketball, great players would challenge him, and then he would annihilate them in the most embarrassing manner, even at an old age, even reactions from the other teams bench were comical, as they were completely blown away by Jordan’s ability,
that’s how Fedor was in mma, one referee said that he never seen anything like that, Fed moved like an animal, there is also a ref cam of some of his fights, it doesn’t look like any other fighter, he literally is covering so much ground in so little time for a heavyweight, the hip flexibility is completely insane, the way he got the arm bar on Mark Coleman the first time It’s mind boggling , Brazilian jiu-jitsu black belts can only shake their head when they see that arm bar. Not his fanboy by the way, I even got banned from MMA forums in the past for criticizing his ****ty training camp. Just being real here.

When young Andre was very athletic. Used to do a moonsault off the top rope… srs.
Great wrestlers are great for different reasons: rock had an ideal career! Protected his health, made money. Hogan was the most recognizable face of wrestling. Every single human being on earth knows who hogan is. The same can not be said for any other wrestler. Flair gave his whole life to wrestling proper, traveling by car from small town to small town, wrestling the top guy in every territory for an hour. Andre was the face of wrestling before hogan. They each made different contributions to history of pro wrestling.

Jordan, LeBron, GMiscer - Alive
Kobe - Deadthats why every civilization throughout human history for 50,000 years has restricted female's rights. except for jews, and except for the last century.
women need to be kept at home, and wear trash bags over their heads if they ever go out.
imagine all the half dog half humans we'd have running around if dogs could get women pregnant.

To be fair about Kobe's PPG thing- he was a role player the first 2-3 years and was getting limited minutes. The Lakers were dumb and were starting freaking Nick Van Exel over him for no reason.
He also played in a much lower scoring era, in slower pace systems for much of the time. And he was splitting play calls with Shaq during his peak.
If Lebron played in the triangle offense with Jokic for 8 years, he'd be averaging 25 PPG too.
Toward the end of his career when he was the only star in a faster offense, he averaged 35 PPG one season. At the time, that was the most anyone had scored in 20+ years.480s / 370b / 495d / 235 x 2 SOHP
