How far does your point of impact move with HST vs FMJ at defensive range? You're not likely to be taking 25 yard head shots with your Glock.

As long as it's 124gr, I've never seen an ammo far enough at 10 yards for me to worry.

I mean it's inches (at 25yrds)......maybe I need some more time with the HST now that I have my optic dialed in perfectly. I can hit a 50c piece (down to a quarter was my best) at 25yrs standing with the blazer 124g FMJ.....not bull****ting.

Pretty bullchit though I can do that with .23c per range ammo but its all over the map with more expensive HST at .50c per. I do feel noticeable more recoil on the HST (over the Blazers)...assuming they are higher pressure even though they aren't the +P variety.

Is what it is I guess....most likely wouldn't need defensive rounds out to that distance but a little consistency does a lot for confidence

What are y’all zeroing at?

I’m set at 7 yards but feeling like I should have done 50 ft or 25 yards or some chit


Also, what do you think of this Scorpio and Magtech ammo? The price seemed right so I bought 1,000 of each. I don’t know how but there wasn’t any sales tax and the shipping wasn’t bad. My local store has the same Scorpio FMJ at $0.30 per round plus tax.

Thinking of training 115 gr range ammo and matching grain for defensive carry but that might be retarded since I see most defensive rounds are heavier

I’ve shot quite a bit of magtech and it’s been very reliable. I usually buy that, blazer or federal for range ammo, depending on what’s cheaper at the time

His donation website crashed after the verdict due to so many people trying to donate money.

If I knew of an AR-9 that I thought would run flawlessly, I'd consider it. A few years ago when I looked, everyone still said they had reliability issues.

AR patterned PCC’s are mid AF.
Put this together earlier this year and it shoots so much softer (and quieter suppressed) than any AR-9.


With the scorpion/AKV mags it runs flawless. OEM mags are fragile and they don’t always feed HP ammo reliably.

Global Ordinance has been selling those for years. From the little research I did, it seemed that they weren't any more reliable than anything else like it. Stock looks really good on it.

Once you do away with their crappy magazines they run 100%.
