Probably PS4. I like the parallel sticks and it was the most reliable controller for me. I had a friend who went through a lot of them though, so maybe I just had good luck or he had bad luck.
Favorite controller overall including 3rd party is probably my current Gamesir for Xbox SX.
N64 controller was retarded ded srsSee Krackerjacked's sig

I never had this issue. I essentially used mine as wired though, Micro USB into the controller, USBA into the PS4. I did go through several of those cords, but that was more due to my clumsiness that bent the receiver part that went into the controller. I revised my setup in the last year before I got a Series X and didn't have to replace any more cords.

Xbox controller always has been and always will be the GOAT. Ergonomic, durable, classy
N64 controller was too extra, Playstation controllers are not ergonomic nor do they last as long under heavy use, as well a newer iterations having that Touchpad that is all too easy to brush against when playing a game, interrupting your flow. SNES is opposite of Nintendo, not enough. And I say this as someone who got an Xbox last over any other game system.
Honorable mention for the Gameboy Advance, but that's more of a console than a controller"So there I am sitting in the waiting area of the hair salon with my niece and Keanu Reeves walks in. I was nervous as ****, but too scared to say anything to him. Then my niece started crying, and I’m trying to quiet her down because I don't want to bother him. Pretty soon he walks over and asks what's wrong. I replied that she was probably hungry. He put down his magazine, picked up my niece, and lifted up his shirt, and breastfed her right there in the salon. Chill guy, really nice about it."

This hasn't been the case in my experience. X360 I played from 2009-2013. I went through at least 8 controllers, 3 of which were official and the others were third party. All had the left stick get fukked up and one had something with the bumpers. I played on PS4 from 2013-2020 and had 4 controllers the entire time, 2 of which still work with no issues. One of the ones I had to replace had a thumbstick issue and the other one had R2 that wasn't registered pushing fully down. I got an Xbox SX on launch and I've already been through 9 controllers, 4 being official SX controllers and the others third party. One had an RB that broke, one had an X button that didn't work properly, and all the other ones got drift.
I got a Gamesir 3rd party one with Hall effect sticks last September and no problems so far so fingers crossed. But yeah Xbox controllers have been very unreliable for me. They do feel better in the hands than PS ones. Although I prefer the parallel sticks of PS controllers I can get used to either layout so that's not a big deal.See Krackerjacked's sig
