This and it's 2024 so all of our recurring bills are set to auto-pay from our joint accounts and credit cards. It's not even a conversation about who picks up the check, pays for groceries, or knocks the phone bill. All comes from the same direct deposit pot. I guess if you filed taxes separately and didn't live in a no-fault divorce state it might matter. Maybe. Really, you just shouldn't get married if you and your potential wife aren't on the same page financially.
