As I've shown you cultist before, inflation is a LAGGING indicator. It LAGS the inputs that caused the increase. The cause for the vast majority of inflation was Trump's reckless spending and the destruction of supply chains under his watch. You can gaslight all you want but those are facts.
Inflation doubled from Jan 21 to Feb 21 to Mar 21. Exactly how did Biden cause that lol?
And what do you think prices should do? Go down? With real wages being ALMOST neutral since 2021 you realize that people are making just about as much money as prices have gone up right?
And STFU about barely afford groceries, HFS you people are whiny little girls. Prices ain't that different from 4 years ago FFS...SMH

Keep moving the goalposts, it's the only way to pretend Biden is doing well
Since when is 3.4% annual inflation "normal"? We haven't seen that since a short period in 2011 and then 2008.
https://www.usinflationcalculator.co...flation-rates/
Real wages up since 2021.
https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/LES1252881600Q
Unemployment near all time lows (record achieved by Biden not the orange turd).
Housing prices exploded in 2020, yet another failing of the orange moron.
https://www.redfin.com/us-housing-market
Biden fixed the steaming pile of chit Trump left of a country, economy in the toilet, ravaged by covid, 2020 completely bungled by Trump. There are tons of reasons why Trump was the unanimous choice as worst POTUS of all time. And it's only going to get worse for you cultist.

Endless lying bull****, already disproven in the post you quoted, and in countless prior posts when your lies are regularly called out and disproven.
Where were store shelves empty in January 2021?
Businesses and employment were roaring back after state Governors conducted their shutdowns.
Negative GDP? That was one year before Biden took office. Why does it take so many lies to prop up Biden? GDP growth 4th quarter 2020 was 3.9%, 1st quarter 2021 (when Biden took office) was 6.3%.

It's easy to show positive GDP when the prior quarters have sucked so bigly.
And yes, lol store shelves were empty in Jan 21. Supply chains were destroyed thanks to Trump's bungling.
I think you have early onset boyo. Should get that checked out.
I supposed unemployment wasn't 6.3%?

Lol. You were already shown the facts. Perhaps your eyesight is failing in your advancing age - here, let me help:
Um, the economy was trashed thanks to a pandemic and exacerbated by Democrat-induced lockdowns that they fought tooth and nail to keep going well into 2021, right around the time they started to try and claim that people returning to their original jobs somehow equaled jobs created.
Um, inflation began skyrocketing under Biden, not Trump.
Fact - the debate is over. You lost.
And this is why Biden is going to lose. You see, prices have skyrocketed under his reign of error, and yes, it's 100% his fault.
Gas: +55.5%
Groceries: +21.3%
Eating out: +21.8%
Baby food: +30%
Pet food: +23.1%
K-12 food: +64.9%
Rent: +20.8%
Electricity: +28.5%
Natural gas: +22%
Used cars: +20.4%
Airfare: +38.2%
Public transportation: +26.1%
Real average weekly earnings: -4.4%
Goodness, you sound like one of Biden's PR outlets like the Washington ComPost or MSDNC who actually tried to say why skyrocketing prices of everything under Biden was a good thing.Last edited by fitnessislife; 05-16-2024 at 01:56 PM.

Now you ADMIT to lying about negative GDP growth when Biden took office, then double-down by LYING again. Only one GDP quarter sucked, and that occurred a full year before Biden took office (2020Q2).
Biden took office 2021Q1: GDP +6.3%
Prior 2020Q4: GDP +3.9%
Prior 2020Q3: GDP +35.3%

And yes, lol store shelves were empty in Jan 21. Supply chains were destroyed thanks to Trump's bungling.
If you have some proof (such as dated news/media pictures around the country), then post it.
All I could find was empty shelves... In Jan 2022, firmly on Biden's watch.

Inflation is real. I am a conservative/libertarian Finance grad I can break down these charts and stats in heavy detail. The "economy" is not in a great place right now and the stock market is propped up by tech and AI which is the only relatively strong part.
However, fitnessislife's breakdown and conclusions are not based in reality.
To do an accurate number you have to adjust for Real dollars because incomes are up too.
You can attribute roughly half of the inflation spike on Biden, but the 2.2 trillion Trump approved was always going to spike inflation. There is just a delay.
You can also attribute a good chunk of the Energy increases on Biden, but you have to be careful because Trumps numbers were artificially suppressed due to COVID so you are better off using 2019 numbers.
Currently a large chunk of people are upside down or housing immobile. IF an economic contraction occurs and people are forced to sell there houses things are going go chit fast.Finance Degree - USAF INTEL - IIFYM - Injured Crew - KTM XCW300 - Single Track Trail Rider - NRA Supporter - Shunned from MFC - Libertarian - Pragmatist

Of course they are real numbers, but as big of a POS and inept as Biden is, he's not the cause of all that inflation. A good amount, yes, but even if Trump was President we would have most of it.
It's no coincidence prices started skyrocketing towards the tail end of 2020. The insane, unfathomable amounts of money that were printed for "covid stimulus", PPP loans, and shutting down vast swaths of the economy are the main cause.
Remember all of us that were against it and spoke out against lockdowns and all the stimulus bullchit were branded as "grandma killers". You don't need an Econ degree to know that would happen.

And all that has been refuted. Stock market is absolutely anemic when inflation-adjusted. Stock market always hits a "record high" under every president. That's not an accomplishment.
Unemployment INCREASING for the past 16 months is not something to cite in Biden's favor

You think a .5% increase from the ALL TIME LOW is a negative you goof? Let me aware you boyo, unemployment <4% is not the norm in this country when you expand the view to 30 years. Just like inflation at 2% is not the norm.
Unemployment at 3.9% is fantastic. Inflation at 3.4% is just fine.

This is the collective mindset of the mindless drones who actually still support the unmitigated failure that is the Biden "presidency".
Their response to families struggling to afford basics like gas and groceries is "lol stop complaining, just stop being poor you whiny little girls!""At the core of liberalism is the spoiled child - miserable, as all spoiled children are, unsatisfied,

Sorry Sillie...I have no issues with you but in my opinion...you sound like a typical pompous liberal Hollywood elite when you make asinine comments about how us little people care about our petty problems like not being able to afford groceries. And to claim that the prices haven't changed from 4 years ago is simply dishonest. I'm lucky enough to be financially secure but you should try stepping down from that ivory tower.
