Biden officially withdraws from Fall debates, challenges Trump to earlier events

I’m surprised. Biden submitted a letter to the debate commission officially pulling out, but also challenging Trump to participate in different formats in June and September. Trump agreed within 30 mins.





My prediction: there will be a “debate about debates” all summer. Biden will try to back out, Trump will keep pushing and they’ll eventually have one event in September.

I assume some of the rules where it's stated "Trump's mic off while not answering" also apply to Biden, if not, woof. No crowd is going to hurt both of them, without feedback of any kind (even the stupid shills they normally pack debates) it will come off as weird as fuk. Otherwise, seems to favor Biden strongly.

I don't think Trump got creamed/destroyed by Biden in 2020, but what happened was -- he stumbled with what was expected to have been an easy win - and instead of winning, lost.

Not sure if Trump is setting himself up for another loss like this, so far with the table seemingly stacked against him. Biden is braindead, but not significantly more than he was already in 2020. He's shown he can be pumped full of drugs to perform, he's been reading teleprompters his whole life and can probably be coached to not **** his pants or something, for at least a couple debates.

This is not 4 years ago, this is 2024.
