like people are weird about pools bc of germs, but think about how many people, oceanic mammals, fish, crustaceans, dinosaurs and other creatures chit, pissed, bled and died in the ocean over the course of the history of our planet?

If you have athletes foot, just go dip your feet in the ocean, it will clear it up in a day or two, srs

It's still 1000000000000000000000x cleaner than your local pool everything you described is literally a drop in the ocean.

It's like when I grew shrooms the room had to be extremely clean (sterile) and 1 bit of dirt etc and the whole batch would get contaminated yet they can grow outside with no problems

Sodium chloride kills germs so the ocean is more like a way to clean yourself

unless it's full of seaweed, the ocean is the GOAT place to swim.

I live next to a beach but haven't gone for a swim in the ocean. I'd probably be fine but lots of bull sharks are in this area. I do find walking barefoot in the surf relaxing though.

As mentioned, Ocean swimming is GOAT plus it's a place full of mystery. You never know what fish you'll find, fossils, ancient artifacts. Wish I lived closer to the ocean.
