Home Improvement really sticks out in my head for some reason. And then later Married with Children.
For the classics, Andy Griffith and the Honeymooners.https://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=180003183&p=1635918623#post1635918623

"225, 315, 405 whatever. Yeah these benchmark digits come to mean a lot to us, the few warriors in this arena. They are, however, just numbers. I'm guilty of that sh*t too, waiting for somebody to powder my nuts cuz I did 20 reps of whatever the **** on the bench. Big f*king deal. It is all relative." G Diesel

I remember a show called "I have no conscious, no decency, I'm a destroyer or families, filled with hate and dislike, yet go to church on Sundays playing a good man role"
That show I'm sure a lot remember. A lot just don't care.Last edited by latverian41; 05-10-2024 at 06:44 PM.

No. I remember watching shows way too old for my age like Family Ties, 227, Cheers, Night Court, etc. But as by far the youngest in the family it was one of my older siblings who originally put that on when I was 6-8 yrs old and I'd watch intently, me watching them by myself by age 8-9 while my siblings were in college or late high school. My favorite show by age 9-10 was Cheers, bar none. Sam was the man.
When TGIF was a thing I was the right age, but way past it. I'd put on tapes of The Terminator, etc. By the time I was in middle school I was quoting Denis Leary on MTV's half hour comedy hour, hosted by Mario Joiner. I'd tape record those and listen to them over and over. I also watched a lot of R rated movies by age 7-8. When I was that age I could quote every line as the movie 'Airplane 2' was played, which probably came out when I was in pre-K. Stooges, etc? I'd catch that on an early Saturday morning before my parents were awake. Probably good for my own, more sheltered kids to watch though.Light weight! Light weight baby!!!!

The Munsters
Lots of old Godzilla movies too. And through my brother, Star Trek, original series. Still remember that episode where all of the planet were kids because adulthood caused a disease that killed them.I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.
