Almost every mainstream media article on the 2020 election dispute includes the word "baseless" in the headline, when it concerns MAGA challenges to the 2020 election results. We are talking big newspapers and media that should know better, NY Times, WaPo, MSNBC. These people went to journalism school. And it's the first thing you learn.
This clearly does not meet the definition for journalism. This could be bought and paid for by the DNC.
A reporter of a controversy must acknowledge there are two sides. This stopped with the coup in 2020.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journa...d%20detachment.
Journalistic Objectivity
Journalistic objectivity requires that a journalist not be on either side of an argument. The journalist must report only the facts and not a personal attitude toward the facts.[5] While objectivity is a complex and dynamic notion that may refer to a multitude of techniques and practices, it generally refers to the idea of "three distinct, yet interrelated, concepts": truthfulness, neutrality, and detachment.
So what to do? All major media is now definitively, indisputably part and parcel of the Democratic National Committee.
Solutions wanted. Treat each article as an in-kind political donation which must be declared? These outlets are taxed as legitimate enterprises. Not full blown political organizations. Read that definition again.
They stopped being newspapers long ago. Objectivity has always been a struggle. But in 2020 they gleefully and openly just threw it out the window. They are not even pretending anymore. So what do we do?

lol. this is not the 60's when people believed they could make a difference.
realistically you will make zero impact on future macro events and zero impact on the media. Unless you have the resources or earn a living from it, I would say anyone who expends significant energy on challenging the media is a fool.
I focus on bettering myself and the the people immediately surrounding me instead. This is a much better use of my time and a much better way to live life.2022 Option Trading Realized Gains: $125,348 USD

Chicagopizza actually raises good points. The media has always at least pretended to be objective and kept a sheen of respectability that they could defend. 2020 was an absolute turning point. I stopped listening to a lot of news, but NPR was the worst during this period. Every single mention of trump was characterizing his actions as a part of the story, not simply reporting facts.

There has always been a constant struggle and debate over media objectivity. These people hold hundreds of conferences where Dan Rather and media big shots bloviate about the ongoing issue of media bias.
But only recently they said fuk all that chit and threw the most basic rules of journalism out the window. "Trump Repeats His Baseless Claims of 2020 Election Stealing." Well sorry but the job of the reporter is to tell us what Trump said, where he said it, when he said it, and what other politicians said in response.
No one gives a fuk if some twenty-something metro-sexual Trump-hater reporter thinks it is "baseless." You are not supposed to insert your own opinion into the article, or it belongs on the editorial page. Russian Pravda is more objective than the US media now.Who is J6 "Scaffold Commander," the key to the J6 Fedsurrection? https://rumble.com/v45y4z6-why-is-the-king-pin-of-j6-scaffold-commander-not-wanted-nor-identified-by-t.html

While we're at it, why does the baseless media keep on calling X, the famous social media company "X, formerly known as Twitter"?
We all know it's called X now, just like we all know the election fraud accusations are baseless.

The biggest network with the most blatantly false propaganda is Fox.
Thats why they are paying out almost 800 MILLION dollars, and theres more lawsuits to come.

I think many people are giving up on the MSM news. It is to unreliable, dishonest. there has been a record number of layoffs in the last couple of years.
Over 500 journalists were laid off in January 2024 alone
The job cuts come after an already bleak year in the news business.
