Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed a bill Wednesday banning and criminalizing the manufacture and sale of lab-grown meat in the state.
The legislation joins similar efforts from three other states — Alabama, Arizona and Tennessee — that have also looked to stop the sale of lab-grown meat, which is believed to still be years away from commercial viability.
“Florida is fighting back against the global elite’s plan to force the world to eat meat grown in a petri dish or bugs to achieve their authoritarian goals,” DeSantis said. “We will save our beef.”
Lab-grown meat, also known as cultivated meat, has attracted considerable attention in recent years as startups have raised millions of dollars to improve the technology meant to create a climate-friendly alternative to traditional meat sources. Cultivated meat is usually grown in a metal vessel from a sample of animal cells. They multiply in a container called a bioreactor while being fed with water, amino acids, vitamins and lipids — a process that can be difficult to do at scales large enough to create enough food for commercial sale.

Never in my life did think I'd read a quote from a U.S. governor talking about the fight against bug burgers.
January 1, 2020 we all woke up in clown world.
I wanna go back. The closer we approach the uncertainty of life's ending the more we wish to trade all of the things we have acquired in exchange for all of the things we have lost: wealth for youth, knowledge for fresh curiosity, resignation for hope. We'd trade our wisdom for new experiences, but it is wisdom that will teach us that at the end of the road the only new experience is death.

I agree with this because if you have lab grown meat available, at some point the Democrats are going to try and force everyone to eat lab grown meat by making the alternatives illegal, just like how they're doing with electric cars. If you make lab grown meat illegal then you beat them to the punch before they try to force it on us.

Because the criminals pushing this intend to 100% take away the ability for anyone to obtain real meat. Also, offering something that is pure poison to the public doesn't count as providing a choice.
Nevermind the fact that these psychopaths should have been stopped from breathing long ago."The reason we are being murdered with genetic altering drugs is its slow acting and it causes your body to malfunction and destroy itself so there is a "plausible deniability" factor. Unlike most poisons which leave more evidence of being the direct cause of death."

Honestly agree with Dusty on this one. If it’s an identical product on the molecular level, and something that we can create in a sustainable and efficient way, I see no issue with pursuing this route further.
People knocked lab grown diamonds for not being “real”, but they are identical to real ones in every way, and makes me reconsider having bought something GIA certified and all of that, instead of the same exact thing or better for a fraction of the price.
Not against hunting or anything, but I see some benefits in pursuing this.I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

I support and agree that animals must be treated very well, but when you eat plants, you’re killing a lot more animals, trillions of bitds ground squirrels butterflies bees all kinds of other creatures have to die, a truly horrific death from pesticides, or being mauled by the combine, that’s why the birds always follow it, to eat the corpses, An instant humane death of a large animal that you can eat for a year is much better for your health than all this pesticide sprayed soy plant food garbage.

You should look into how exactly this fake meat is made, it’s not a nice process, there’s a lot of genetic mutations and very serious cancer risks involved, there is plenty of chemicals, not to mention many harmful substances for the environment that are being used in the process, there are a lot of unknowns when it comes to your health if you were to eat this long-term. Nature knows best.

Bunch of fukkin retards in here thinking that by not having it come directly from a cow, that somehow no animals will ever be hurt because of it.
Know what the main reagent is in cell culture media for growing this fake meat? Fetal bovine serum. I’ll let you take one guess as to where and how we acquire that.
Stupid fuks, just like the fpaggots wanting “green energy”.

Animals have no rights, the social contract is between humans, an animal would eat you in a blink of an eye if it could. And animals do eat people at every single opportunity, and they don’t bother killing you first. They just start eating.
You are free to do what you want, but you’re not allowed to interfere with another human being trying to feed themselves,

That’s certainly incorrect, if anything keto and carnivore are gaining ground, people are curing everything these days on carnivore, case reports and research studies are showing incredible results, auto immune conditions just go away on carnivore all together, they got freaking stage four tumors disappearing on brain scans.
Again, you have to come to grips with the fact that you absolutely do not have the right and will never have the ability to stop me from eating steak, there is absolutely nothing you or anyone else can do to stop others from eating real steak. The fact that you are even contemplating that is disturbing, it’s the definition of a dictatorship, you are trying to dictate to someone else what they can and cannot eat.
