I wish home and apartment rent prices were better for the younger generation. With government regulations bringing about a shortage of homes and apartments, if the situation remains the same in blue states, I can imagine more younger Americans will be moving to red states were homes and rents tend to be more affordable. Course if different politicians are voted into office in blue states, that will allow more building, then home and rent affordability should improve.

Things were relatively fine until the scamdemic, that's when they put running everything into the ground into maximum overdrive.
I was renting a large new apartment in an urban midwestern city for $900 a month in 2019. That same apartment rents out for $1,500 now. It's much worse in the sunbelt, where salaries are lower yet everything is somehow more expensive.
