Everybody acts like it’s so healthy and delicious. It’s not that good I’d rather eat catfish or tilapia any day. And as far as nutrition i bet ground beef and eggs mog salmon.

Catfish or talopia are not better tasting than salmon
The source of salmon is super important and important in all fish.
Farm raised salmon should be avoided at all costs. Farm raised salmon is one if the most toxic foods on earth. Dead srs. Plus the ocean can be toxic.
Deep water fishes are safer.
Swordfish is my favorite and it's one of the healthiest. And yes I eat it raw.

Whatever man protein is protein. I don’t buy the whole “fish is healthier than land mammals arguments” at all I’ve met people who cut themselves cleaning gag caught offshore that ended up having wicked infections and losing body parts to flesh eating bacteria because the water in the Gulf of Mexico is so polluted. I’ve also seen lakes people fish in that were so heavily polluted that large amounts of fish would randomly die off all at once and there would be dozens of dead fish floating at the top of the lake.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say or argue with?
Protein isn't protein and some animals are much more nutrient dense than others.
Certain seafood are good for you and some should be avoided...like factor farmed salmon.
Oysters are loaded with zinc and minerals that can help with ED.
But fish is more secondary stuff. I experimented eating raw fish only for 2 weeks and didn't like it. Was kinda hungry all the time and didn't have a lot of energy like meat does.

I think salmon is rated about right
I think good oysters are awesome but average oysters are really terrible, sometimes you see people eating these dried out nasty things thinking it’s great and it’s disgusting
Same with black caviar - if it’s genuine fresh Russian beluga it’s a transcendent experience, if it’s just crappy canned sturgeon fish caviar it’s meh.
Most shellfish the same
Lobster is worthy of its rating or overrated depending on how it’s been prepared, if people do too much with it, there’s no point. Eg lobster mornay you are tasting cheese and butter, not the lobster itself. The fish kills you saw in lakes might've been caused by water treatment guys fukin up the dosage if the lake was private and smallish. Have a buddy who did that as a job and said of the 7 guys working, one of them would do it monthly lol. If it was a bigger public lake, they most likely died from lack of oxygen or something of the such.
The Gulf isn't polluted, just think about that for 10 seconds. I've been spearfishing Tampa Bay for a decade and have cut my self on every object in the bay and have never suffered an infection. And that's the bay vs the Gulf.
Miami Butter brah, swordfish and any large predator is loaded with mercury and parasites, bio accumulation brah. parasites may or may not transfer to humans, but I 100% promise you that you are eating eggs/worms if you eat raw swordfish.
Salmon is objectively better than tilapia and catfish. Not many fish have a flavor as strong as salmon as well as a high fat content. Comparing it to generic white flesh fish is a joke. Its in a league with pelagics.**Florida Crew**
