There have been dozens of these near misses in the last year. I refuse to fly, something bad is going to happen eventually. I know “statistically” they’re more dangerous, but I will be driving or at worst taking Amtrak every time I have to travel going forward.

The engine fire was a different earlier flight. It was caused by the engine sucking in a piece of bubble wrap off the runway. This was just someone making a bad turn.Originally Posted by dabbmw2002
