One of the worst side effects of drinking is having to get up and piss every ****ing 60 minutes when I'm sleeping and then wake up 2 hours earlier than I want to for 2 hours and then taking a 2-hour ****ing nap

7 years sober for me. I was probably different though, Everytime I drank id go on a wild bender and end up in jail blackout drunk. Finally quit after I got into a bad car crash and hit a parked truck at 60mph near the house I was staying at. Somehow made it home all concussed and bloody. Woke up the next morning and didn't remember anything. Scared the chit out of me and finally realized I was a menace to society and needed to change. Only options was sobriety, prison, or imminent death. Went to long term rehab for over a year and then lived in a sober halfway house for a while. Life completely changed and have a good career now. If I could do it, anybody can if you really want to.
