Longest commute to an office was about 40 minutes....was all highway and I was driving out of the city while 95% of people were driving in.....never hit any traffic. Hated it though, just felt like a waste of time...especially when it would snow.
Work from home now. I have to drive to the jobsites 2-3x a month and they're about 1.5-2 hours away. I get reimbursed mileage so I really don't mind and since I work from home, it's nice to get out. I leave around 530am and get home around 7pm. I have to drive into Atlanta, like damn near downtown though and that fukking sucks.

Id never commute more than 20 minutes one way to work for another man.
Any more and you might as well wear a name tag on your shirt that says "CUCK",
ded fkn srs.
1.5 hours? 3 hours round trip total? You might as well give your boss a rub and tug every Friday on top of things, since you're such a CUCK.Reps to all BJJ/grappling/MMA bros.

And op is doing this for $20k more , just lmao.
Unless youre making some stupid low $$ like sub $75k, you'll hardly notice an extra $20k after daddy government takes his cut .
Ded fkn srs , it's certainly not worth a longer commute than your already cuckening 1 hour commute.
Assuming 260 working days in a year, you spend 780 hours just driving to your work like a good CUCK.
that's an additional 97 and a half full work days in your wage cage (your CUCK car)Reps to all BJJ/grappling/MMA bros.

There’s more to life than sitting in a car for 3 hours a day.
Currently I’m commuting about 30 mins each way. Across town suburb to suburb. It’s depressing.
I used to live in the city and work downtown. It was a 15 min bus ride each way. Idk why but sitting on public transit is far more relaxing than actively driving. If I chose to drive it was exactly 7 mins door to door. We also got to WFH every other week. Fuarrk. I miss it every day.

Used to drive 30 minutes each way, sometimes twice a day. So it was about 7 hours a week of driving plus an extra $300 in gas per month.
COVID hit and I had to pivot, but moved my main business into my house and now it's saving me all that time plus the gas money. Much, much prefer having my commute being going down to my basement. My new office for my second business is a ten minute drive.
For 20k a year I'd have to think about it, although it sounds like you already have a pretty long commute so it isn't a big deal.
