Anyone who serves alcohol has to go through hours of video footage explaining how what drunk people do will come back on you for over serving as well.
Drunk drivers killing people, lawsuit to bartender and restaurant etc..
Man will get in trouble. But so will the airlines and the attendants for not doing their job while serving people alcohol, which is to not overserve. In the case of a single person getting 10 drinks it’s pretty open and shut they will be found at fault.

A crew is always resposible for what happens inside the aircraft. Especially when they contribute in some way.
The man is at fault and the crew has some explanations to give. As a crew member, safety is your first concern. You should stop serving alcohol at some point.
Flight attendant's job is to be the eyes of the pilots in the cabin, always promoting safety. Serving drinks is just a bonus. If you forget your job because you want to do a "bonus", thats pure negligence.
So, in this case, I doubt the "Just Culture" even applies (as it was not a mistake, it was negligence). If it doesn't, some crew members gonna at least be fired, thats for sure.Last edited by GODself; 07-29-2023 at 06:05 PM.

Never understood why they serve booze on airplanes.
Cant people just sit for a few hours without having to drink?
I love drinking yet I never drink on planes. I just wait until I get where I am going."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda

Thats the take of someone that knows how aviation works.
Thats also the take of someone that knows that a flight operation is not comparable to frying a hamburger.
And thats also the take of someone who knows the rights and the duties of every single crew member on board of an aircraft, like i know the palm of my hand.

If you are asking the question, Why don’t airlines have cameras in passenger planes, It would be so easy?
It’s because it would take any hope of winning in court with situations like these completely out of the realm of possibility.
A settlement might not be even on the table.
“Where is your proof this happened?”
Also a chance they saw a guy get intoxicated and saw a pay day.
