Even if the the bottom came in in October, there are still a lot of stocks trading cheaply, there is still opportunity to make money if you have cash and the indices continue to rise.
If the bottom has not come in yet then you are really going to wish you had some cash when it does lol.
Bottom has not come in, I'll be fine if I'm wrong but I've made $$$ since the low and I have an alt plan.

Lulz absolutely not.
Also WBA finally breaking below $30. Lots more downside to go. Not much cost saving left aside from raking their new primary care to the bone because their entire business model is over working their employees in the name of profits instead of creating value in their business model. I definitely see the strategy of remaining neutral as he did. But I don't think there is a chance of winning this debacle no matter what they do now. Either remain neutral and hope for the best or say everything they did was wrong on CBS and by then it's too late, you'd just gain a ton of more press that reverts back to the original issue. And appearing on CBS to save face isn't going to do a damn thing, which is another mistake unless a lot of housewives are drinking Bud Light.
I think AB's mistake was not doing anything about it as soon as there was the initial push back and blame the marketing department and clean house. Perhaps the push came from the top down so they weren't able to do that. Either way, it'll make a great case study for my prior business strategy class for this hot af professor that I dearly miss.★★★ A State of Trance Crew ★★★

The backwoods consumer and farmer surprisingly think of it as a premium brand tho. You got Busch, Coors, Schlitz, PBR, Hamms, Natty...I recall the kids with money always bought Bud Light cuz it cost a bit more which they allude to as premium as hilarious as that sounds.

I placed an option trade via limit order for $1.15 price on a covered call. It executed but I only got $1.14.
Is this legal? What's the point of a limit order if the broker can scalp a penny here and there from your profit? On a large enough scale of users/trades this is quite a lot of money for them.Last edited by Crazy_Desi; 06-28-2023 at 02:50 PM.

I used to be a big bud light fan. I actually do like PBR equally as much and since its cheaper I'll bring that if I'm having more than a few beers.
Also random question I've been pondering-- Fed rate is 5% or so. Is there a point at which certain bond maturities will end up closer to that 5%? the 5 year just regained the 4% mark not that long ago after hitting it back in January. 30 year isn't far behind. I'm trying to time my TLT purchase.Fitness connoisseur

I don’t even know man, don’t currently have new funds to add and I’m not playing the sell and buy back game so I’ve stopped following stuff closely aside from keeping up with macro developments — kinda just letting the stonks do their thing and letting the dividends roll in until another big move happens (either up or down)

I thought I saw some in that range the other day. I was researching money market like ETFs that consisted of bonds and most of them are over 5% sec 7-day yield.
And yeah PBR used to be a go to as well, it was $4.99 for a sixer at the time. Rip beers under a buck. Paying $11.99 for the good stuff now.★★★ A State of Trance Crew ★★★

I think you mean a thick cut ribeye LOL. But seriously, capital one has been great about increasing their rate. I don't know if CIT would decrease the rate later, like I've had other banks and credit unions do to get you to transfer your money. Honestly, I like with capital one has been doing with their app and website and their customer service has been impeccable.
