I keep hearing people talk about how good it is. I cut off Netflix a while ago because it was mostly trash. Is this show worth the hype?

Misc brahs, is Stranger Things worth a Netflix subscription?
I've been seeing the past in one eye and the present in the other. So, I thought I could only see patches of reality, never the whole picture. I felt like I was watching a dream I could never wake up from. Before I knew it, the dream was over.

im pretty picky about what shows i watch and i dont like most of the chit there is out there, but i watched stranger things season 1-3 twice all the way through. i tried watching season 4 but couldnt get into it; it was cliche as fuk. i mean the whole show was pretty predictable but holy fuk season 4 is just annoying.

First season is miles ahead of the other 3 just because everything is new and unknown, and it seems, at least from the first half of the season like no one is safe.
The subsequent three are just too safe. Being predominantly about children holds back the horror potential.
