I swear, every time you see people who just have no clue how to act like a decent human being. International airports are the worst.
Brb people cutting in line, brb you've gone through the security check 100 times but still don't know how to get ready with all your chit and spend 10 minutes taking all your metals off, then forgetting the belt or the ring.
Brb smelly as chit (no wayciss but certain nationalities don't shower for weeks before travelling so there's a halo of dried sweat smell that has a 20 feet range).
Brb people don't know that the priority queue is for business & first class so stand in the wrong lane.
Brb people taking their shoes off and the socks smell like dried dingleberry.

Do airports bring out the worst in people?

"My outer appearance was poor, but in this way my inner world became richer than anyone else's. Was it not natural that a young boy who suffered from an indelible drawback like mine should have come to think that he was a secretly chosen being? I felt as though somewhere in this world a mission awaited me of which I myself still knew nothing." --Yukio Mishima

I dread long flights overseas. I need to be able to stretch my legs. It just stresses me out. Also, not knowing whats acceptable or appropriate to bring, since the rules and regulations are always subject to change. My family went to the UK, and had to have some stuff taken from them, like products, and generic items. It was very totalitarian like.

Only fly first class crew, united club crew, don't even sit with the plebs, don't even have to use the pleb bathrooms cause I'm in that united lounge eating complimentary snacks.
Fly to Florida maybe a half dozen times a year to visit my mom, have extra clothes and everything there so I don't bring chit other then my iPad pro to watch movies.
As long as the weather is OK and there's no cretins on my plane it's usually pretty painless.Sometimes I park in handicap spaces, while handicap people make handicap faces

The only thing that really bothers me is people who bring like 4 giant bags with them and stand in line with those carts.
I just traveled for 3.5 months with only a regular sized backpack. Yes, I probably could take a few more things along with me and be a bit more well-dressed while traveling. But there's absolutely no reason why anybody needs a 3x4 bag carrying 70 pounds of luggage on any trip. People don't need to bring pots and pans and spices with them while traveling.
I honestly have no idea why this even occurs to people. Is it some type of mental illness?

Yeah, I have an AMEX Platinum card, and it's pretty rare that I don't have access to a lounge with free food/drinks at basically any decent sized airport in the world. Seems frivolous sometimes, but it really does make long layovers much better. But the downside is that I'm pretty much always drinking at the airport now, which doesn't need to happen.

The average airport user and experience isnt like that. Its just normal.
The odd ones we see on tv and online are the expections. They are staged by the govt to dissuade us from travelling. Same with electric cars, high gas prices, lockdowns, all that.
They want us to stay at home and watch the mindless propaganda brainwashing. not travelling about talking to one another and realizing we were all lied to."To be a warrior is not a simple matter of wishing to be one. It is rather an endless struggle that will go on to the very last moment of our lives. Nobody is born a warrior, in exactly the same way that nobody is born an average man. We make ourselves into one or the other."-- Carlos Castaneda
