There is a small chance this will lead to WWIII. Feel like people should be more concerned than they should be. I'm not making any preparations though. Would try to get close as possible to a likely target so I get killed immediately and don't just suffer third degree burns.

There have been a good few times when it almost happened, some mistake with Russian detection systems that was supposed to trigger an immediate response but some fairly junior guy in the chain refused to carry out orders.
