I swear every generation thinks the previous generation was the best. Omgz look at all the fun they had. I wish I was born in that era blah blah blah
Then you have the old people saying ya it really was the best blh blah blah. In truth, they just miss their youth.
I swear if you asked everyone 40 and above they said their teenage era was the best. Gee, I wonder why.
Abercrombie is gonna make a huge comeback in a few years so get ready

Not really. Came of age in the 00s and even then I was watching 90s shows and listening to 90s music. The country was doing good, racial and global tensions were lax, and people had a positive outlook going into the new millennium. It was legitimately the best time we'll ever have on earth.
Do not think that what is hard for you to master is humanly impossible; and if it is humanly possible, consider it to be within your reach.

Disagree entirely
Normally I wouldn't but the truth is humanity does crave going back to the way life is supposed to be, technology has made everything stale & ineffective, leading to miserable people
I've personally had zoomies express to me that they wish they grew up in the 90's/2000's because of how everything is post 2015 clown world*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

I would literally say the same chit as a retarded teenager except wishing to have grown up in the '70s-'80s.
Every generation built on the previous, tore down the crap from before, and has its own GOAT attributes. Once the '90s nostalgia passes there's gonna be a lot of '00s love reminiscing on newgrounds, ebaumsworld, Napster, kazaa, web 1.0, myspace, cyber cafes, counterstrike, StarCraft, etc.-Virtue is its own reward

This is precisely where zoomies are already at, they're obsessed with the 00's
It isn't nostalgia, they weren't old enough to remember it, the truth is the world was a better place to be
You know how many times it ever occurred to me that some kid would bring a gun to my school & use it? Zero
Zoomies know they're fukking retarded on a scale that is practically inhuman; these 20 year olds can't even work @ a fast food drive-through without a support dog*Tolerance is the lube that slides the dildo of dysfunction into the ass of civilized society*

The 90's were the best. I grew up in that time.
In a typical American Neighborhood every neighbor knew each other.
block parties were a weekly afair
Gentrification never had to be pushed, it just happened. Your house was your ********
Style standards were lax as hell, and girls looked so much hotter in every way imaginable

Overall happiness depends on our ability to modify unwanted human behavior that is unproductive to modern industrial society.
At some point our ability to manipulate with meds / propaganda / etc.. makes big leaps and people seem happier, then eventually new technologies and demands add pressures until new coping mechanisms for new pressures become needed.
The long term macro trend will depend on how far we can alter human beings, genetic manipulations etc.. are necessary to continue to make technological and economic advancements. Weve been a miserable species for a few thousand years with bumps in happiness when coping advancements for our unnatural way of life get developed.

And I didn't grow up then? Lol then in your argument the 70s and 80s were goat too.
So who was more goat? The 70s 80s or 90s?
Or you were just young? I see kids walking my old neighborhood all the time, riding bikes or doing some chit we all did too.
You know in the 2000s the 80s boomers were saying we missed out and kids are different these days? Sure the 70s boomers said the same thing about the 80s kids and on and on and on it goesTruth is out there

Hahahaha it's all my point dude: back in the late 2000s and 2012 everyone loved the 80s..
Now this generation loves the 90s
The newmies will say they missed out on the 2006 era.
It's all my point. Every generation thinks they missed out. So get ready for Abercrombie and hollister to make a big comeback in 3-5 years.Truth is out there

The current generation now have all the previous "modern" generation's music, style, vids, etc, avilable to view at any time, at a click. So maybe they will pick/choose/incorporate the bits that they like?
I wouldn't speak to a broccoli headed zoomer personally, so can't confirm if this is true, or not.

Haven't you seen dazed and confused? The one girl said "well the 70s sucked so I'm sure the 80s will be awesome". And it came out in the 90s so the 70s grown ups were all like Noo 80s sucked real world , computers, kids are different 70s was the goat.
That's the point. In the 70s kids loved the 50s. Hence dazed and confused and kids complaining about they missed out on simpler times.
Every generation thinks they missed out.Truth is out there

I'm pretty sure Zoomcels know that the world is fked right now and that things used to be better. I don't think it's just a "looking fondly back on youth" kind of thing. Even the music is starting to take on 80s/90s vibes. Like look at this song that's super popular. It's got obvious 80s synth/upbeat tempo vibes:
