I think social media and dating apps have done something. Everyone is completely addicted to those things now so we don't have the dopamine to do other stuff anymore such as work or socialize. I am noticing a huge difference in the work culture at work. People don't want to do anything. Everyone is quitting. They can't hire people. Customer service is bad everywhere. I've had to start buying more food at the grocery store to cook at home now.
I don't notice this as much when it comes to gen xers but boomers about to retire and people in their 20s and 30s i know seem to have opted out. Idk what the solution is.PC specs

Even 7-8 years ago people were barely on social media or dating apps man. I remember in 2014 people would post some going out pics for FB once a week but that was about it. None of my friends or acquaintances cared about social media. There's data coming out now that cell phone usage is increasing dramatically. People check their phones 344 times per year now. Up 31% since last year. This isn't normal man.

the solution is to have a healthier work culture where people are actually paid well relatively to inflation and have cultural norms that promote community, relationships, and family. We dont have these anymore.
Like with work, inequality and wage stagnation has reached a breaking point. the system went too far taking advantage of wageslaves, you cant really go back.Manlet Master Race

Everywhere i go people are on their screens or listening through air pods. I don't get it either. I try to unplug and talk to people but they just say one sentence answers or start staring hard into their screens more. Even at the gym i used to go there and talk to a lot of dudes about hitting PR's and chit but nowadays you go there and it's just people listening to music or filming tik toks in groups. I'm completely baffled at this point.

I'm just seeing people at work walking on egg shells and not doing anything about the issues man. I don't see how this will ever get better since nobody ever takes initiative. People only care about themselves and their little social media bubble now. How can we ever have thriving communities when it's like this?

One thing is the bar is being set ever higher for the same level of success people used to have a couple generations ago. Sure many things are easier to come by these days but many, many other important things take 10x as much effort and have less returns than before.
Gotta work harder for the same type of job your parents had, the job requires more qualifications now.
It pays a little less, tho
And you are required to stay late
And you need to "wear multiple hats" and do extra chit without extra pay
And the benefits are less
And you need to save up more money for longer to afford a higher down payment for a house
Okay now you got a house but property values went down in your area because of crime so now you gotta save up again in hopes of possibly moving into a better neighborhood
And your wife will be an overweight single mother, too
Lmao.

It does. People are walking on egg shells afraid to step on toes.
I'm a direct person so not like this and don't understand it.
I do not see any people acting direct or anything anymore, like truestez said people are just walking on egg shells afraid to say anything. It's honestly weird as hell.PC specs

Not to mention customer service is non existent.
Customer service is eliminated/automated. If not, everyone is so entitled that all entry level customer service positions that ride from fast food all the way up to your servers at middle/upper-tier restaurants give you some kind of attitude if you don't act exactly like they want you to act. Servers at these middle/upper tier restaurants can make like 70-80k for doing a pretty easy job for the most part. They should be grateful.RIP Based Kevin Samuels

That’s why I was able to get young guys. They give up on girls their age because they’re competing with Giga-Chads, only fans and seeking arrangement. 15 years ago I didn’t get younger guys. It just became a fad in the last 10 years.
It all started in 2012 and then Tinder came out in 2014 when I looked like my avi.Make It a Great Day! Just call me Dusty. It's a Clown 🤡 World out there.

I can honestly say I've given up. Just trying to make as much money as fast as possible in the next 5-10 years so I can check out for real.
Really don't see life getting better than it is now. Will likely just be more of the same sh*t the rest of the way. None of it making a damn bit of difference."One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

What do you expect?
In muh land of opportunity USA a young person has less than a 50% chance of earning more than their parents. That number used to be 95%+.
The only people for whom things have significantly improved are a small cabal of political/economic elites. The disparity between CEO pay and worker pay is now outright comical and the divergence between productivity and real incomes is even more black pilling.
There's very little to be excited about if you an average young person coming up in the world.Misc Crypto Crew

Young men have very little reason to opt into society anymore.
Its a very dangerous situation to have fighting age males without direction or purpose. For every man, there is a sentence, a string of words, that has the power to destroy him
