CZ pretty much drew the line and made it clear where he stands. If he wants to retain any sort of support to keep the coin on exchnages and within the community a burn is the only option. Forking will not create value. Pretty sure 2.5B in reserves were sent to binance and other exchanges so hopefully a burn is imminent.

i think we will hit 18K by the time more shortages are announced. The question will be "will it go lower than 18K?"

I'm in the construction industry and there's starting to be a shortage on cement to make concrete, thus slowly production on alot of construction projects. Not sure if this will be short lived but keep in mind prices on food keep going up everyday. This will eventually break people, thus collapsing the stock/crypto market. I'm not playing the market anytime soon till there's some light in the end of the tunnel. 2024 can't get here any sooner.

Lol BTC is tied to the stock market and is not considered an inflation hedge (frankly it's considered the inverse right now, basically a super high risk asset). Unless you believe rising rates and chitty company earnings are going to have a positive impact on the stock market, BTC can go a lot lower this year. $10k BTC is strawman, no one really believes that, but $20k BTC is certainly in range.
