its dumber than that, he drove into the car wash randomly, didnt even pay for it, the car wash didnt even activate, he got out of his car and it apparently was in drive and it pined him against the wall/machinery.

it was toyota's attempt to market towards younger people and teenagers. it was still mostly boring cars.

the positive is that despite looking weird, handling like a boat and being slow, it will atleast be highly reliable, most of them were toyota built. One was a rebadged mazda 2 and the brz is a subaru.

Guy probably had those flippable mirrors and thought the wash would break them off, they won't.Got out, flipped the mirror but by then the machine started and he got pinned, either that or the car rolled since it says it wasn't on at the time. Got pinned and pretty much suffocated.

All so, if it's not touchless, don't use it. It will take your clear coat off over time and you will have clean, but ruined paint job

if you have a good wax/sealant layer then touchless works pretty damn well. only ever use them when im out of town tho

A dude on the ******** owners club for my car died recently. Was working under it, presumably being held up by a single hydraulic jack. No tyres or axle stands to be seen. He apparently was saved but brain dead by the time they got him out. Was in a coma then died a few days later.
