Recently changed up my fair weather cruiser situation. The vette was no longer practical having a 9 month old son, so I sold it for something a little more family friendly.
06 ls2/m6 car, cam + FBO -
Sold that, bought this -
14 2ss, 13k miles on the clock, D1SC procharger, cam, converter, complete fuel system, etc. No chance of hooking up on the 20" wheels that it came on with ~600 whp, so had to make a switch right off the bat -
This car is an absolute blast to drive. The tune is dialed in really well so part throttle putting around town feels just like driving a stock car, but put your foot down and get into boost then all Hell breaks loose. Even with the added weight it is night and day just SO much quicker/faster than the vette was. I was a little worried going from always having m6 toys to an auto, but the consistency of this setup is pretty amazing.

Thanks brah. I was initially torn between the D5's and F14's, reached out to a friend that is a vendor, the D5's he could get to me in under a week, the F14's had a 2-3 month lead time. Made the decision easy.
As far as the auto vs manual, the newer autos and DCT transmissions are just so much better than the older slushboxes were. The 6l80 in this car is on borrowed time with the power it's making, but the newer 8 and 10 speeds will handle 700-800+ rwhp in stock trim all day long.
Haha, I have a 4 door truck and the wife has an SUV that are our daily drivers, but I pick up my son right after work so regardless of weather I wasn't able to drive the c6 to work at all anymore, plus on weekends I want to spend time with my family, I can do that in the camaro, not the vette.Permabulk/bloatlord Crew
