Then to their south they have Myanmar, Laos amd Vietnam which have a combined active military of 1 million (China has 2 million). To their south east they have India which fckn hate them.

They'd have their shipping routes blocked in and their people would revolt from starvation

Putin fukked up, he would have better success to do this back in 2014. Since then the west supplied and trained Ukranian military. They became a lot stronger than they were, their army was barely anything 8 years ago. You can't underestimate Ukraine's military power.

Also, yeah no Russians want this war. Russia themselves are still suffering affects from WW2, disproportion of men to women being one of them. Most Russians I spoke to despise Putin, but can't do anything about it...
