You're not aware? He pretty much singlehandedly stopped the DusitD2 attack in Kenya a few years ago.
Step 1.
Don't listen to a scrawny retard with zero experience to plan your night setup.
For some unknown reason I carried a thumbhole AK in basic for a week. The Army can be weird, man.

A new thing for our backup thread location:
Tip/Topic of The Day
Steel case ammo is fine for practice/training/plinking. Provided that your firearm manufacturer/owner's manual does not explicitly say to avoid it, and same for your range, feel free to save some money and use steel case ammo for your regular shooting activities.
Do be aware that most steel case ammo runs dirtier than most brass ammo (though that's not always the case)...that steel cases have higher friction than brass (which is itself higher than nickel plating) which may result in less reliable feeding from the magazine (particularly polymer mags that have no metal lining, like Magpul brand Glock mags)...and that most steel case ammo also has steel in the jacket (so it might not be BS that your range doesn't allow it as they are really avoiding the steel in the jacket)...there are some rounds out there marked as "range friendly/safe" that have steel cases but no steel in the bullet jacket you may wish to try as a have your cake and eat it too way of training with money savings.
Also do not worry about increased barrel wear. Unless you're firing the ever loving sht out of your rifle (not pistol) to the point it is dangerously hot, you are unlikely to ever shoot enough ammo through that barrel to actually wear it out.

Tip/Topic of the day
Stop worrying about which defensive ammo you use.
1. Reliable in your gun, through your mags, in your hands
2. Penetrates reliably (12-18" in bare gel and 4 layer denim gel is the standard)

You [almost guaranteed] don't need to carry a spare magazine.
The odds of needing a spare magazine, and being able to use it, as a private citizen concealed carrier CONUS, are lower than the odds of hitting the Powerball.
If you believe a spare mag is essential, feel free to provide one singular modern day example of one being used by a private carrier CONUS

Went the range today. Some Boomer with a tricked out BMW was sitting in the trunk of his car blaring this song while getting his 1911's ready.
I asked him to turn it down, and he chucked a bag of white cheddar pirates booty at me. wtf

Justified defensive gun uses aren't all up close. We all hear the "average" bandied about of "3 rounds, 3 yards, 3 seconds", but that is often not the case as well.
Tom Givens has published stats (sample size 63) on (every one justified) former class students in defensive firearm uses. They go out to a long of 22 yards. That's 22 yards justified in just one of 63 examples.
Worry more about your ability to make an A zone hit at 10-25 yards in a timely fashion, than about carrying a spare mag

next time you take a training course, make sure you rub a healthy amount of peanut butter in between your buttcheeks
so when you are training/shooting. the peanut butter will seep out and get all on your underwear and pants. Thus simulating the realistic nature of sharting yourself in a self-offense scenario6 scoops of xf up2.0 a day

Submitted two eForm 1's last week. Everything was pretty smooth until it was time to pay. The website repeatedly timed out when trying to submit my card for payment. Always hate it when that happens because I worry about getting multiple charges. Sure enough, checked my credit card a few days later and there's 4 charges for 2 applications. Since the ATF is a model of efficiency, I'm sure it will be cleared up expeditiously. Still excited to get the ball rolling on a suppressor though.

Colt Canada C8 assault rifle according to the news
Mono can go as low as 2k, though Ninja is of the opinion that around 2.6k is the minimum you should go for a little higher quality control from better companies. At that point I say just save up for a 3k unit with above average performance.
Bino and mono has different pros and cons. Never had to shoot people for work but off the top of my head:
Mono
- half the cost for the same capability basically
- can observe ******t conditions with natural eyesight light adaptation (useful I guess if the opposing force doesn't have night vision)
- not ambidextrous unless you manually toggle the mount to the other eye
bino
- really fooking expensive
- heavier
- more power drain
- less headache/eye strain? Anecdotal
- better depth perception? Also anecdotal
- can't observe ******t lighting conditions since you're basically shining a screen in your eyes and not adapting to the darkness
- ambidextrous usage (good for gigachads who can utilize cover/concealment then shoulder switch and passive aim with their off side)
- looks really cool
Most legit vendors have warranty.
Lifespan is like 10k hours but you're also supposed to nitrogen purge them every several months or something though I'm not an expert.Last edited by BulkingIsHard; 02-14-2022 at 11:13 AM.

If I decide I like re dots I might do that. I'm still not sure. The big issue is IWB holsters for these little guys with a optic is sketchy. I might sell the Holosun and go back to iron sights so I can go back to a super deep IWB holsters that I love like the Milt Sparks Nexus or Criterion.
