Quiet Place II was very underwhelming like others said. I felt like nothing really happened during the entire movie. If it turns out that this will be a Triology then I can see the point of the second one here, otherwise it felt useless. Ending sucked too.

I saw the first one at Alamo Drafthouse and it was one of the worst movie experiences I have had. It was SO hard to eat the whole movie because it was so quiet and I also had a cold at the time so my nose was running really bad, probably was covid then too.
I just finished Castle Rock this weekend though it was really good
If you are a Stephen King fan its a must watch, and the 2nd season starts slow the first half then takes a sharp turn and gets back to where it should.**worthless college major crew**

Found footage Turkish horror: "Dabbe: Cin Çarpmasi" aka "Dabbe: The Possession".
IMDB LINK
This foreign--for me--horror was quite solid. Great acting and story dealing with Djinns. 6.5/10, definitely worth one watch.EoR is powered by unique Nanomolecular Hyperdispersion Technology. Giving him high bioavailability and myocellular saturation.

The 5th Kind (Amazon Prime) - this got rated 5.2 on IMDB, but I made the mistake of not looking closer. It was only 18 or so reviews with most being 1 star, and 2 or 3 being 9/10 which were obviously faked. This was awful. 1/10 is a good rating for it. Avoid.
Primal Rage (Amazon Prime) - couple gets lost in the woods, hunted by a Big Foot creature. This also sucked, but slightly less. 3/10.6'1 - 240lbs

Finally got around to watching Blood Red Sky on NF after seeing a few of you fellas mention it.
I really enjoyed it, Great combo of an action / horror movie. Definitely had a softer / humane side to it with the relationship between the mother & son.
Very well done, will watch years from now with grandchildrenPRs: Back Squat- 410x1 / Front Squat- 320x1/ Bench- 325x1 / Deadlift- 505x1

Someone randomly suggested "Deadgirl" ah a bit too hardcore for me. Rape, torture, zombies, etc, if that's your thing then you'll love it.
I ended up watching recently "Happy Death Day" and the sequel "Happy Death Day 2U". It's a blend of thriller/horror, very light gore moments and some comedy+sci-fi mixed in. They touch on the "Groundhog Day" theme but do it really uniquely. The sequel continues it on perfectly and I have to say both were really good.
Gets a solid 7/10 for me, a good change of pace, great acting and just a good relaxing watch.EoR is powered by unique Nanomolecular Hyperdispersion Technology. Giving him high bioavailability and myocellular saturation.

Not sure this has been mentioned but watched Freaky with Vince Vaughn recently. More of a horror comedy, but heavier on the horror side. Silly story but some decent suspense and scares. Good if you're in the mood for something light. 6.5/10

Crazy how much opinions can differ.
I watched Nocturnal Animals on a plane on a ****ty tiny screen and I STILL found the movie incredibly moving. It’s one of those films that actually left a mark on me, and I found myself thinking about it for a while afterwards.
It is, however, definitely not a horror movie. It’s more of a psychological thriller, which I much prefer over horrors.
Also, i thought the acting was phenomenal. Michael Shannon puts in a GOAT performance and Aaron Taylor-Johnson pulls off a character I didn’t ever think he could (being something of a soft pretty boy). Gylenhaal as usual puts in a solid performance, but he plays an odd character in that you sympathise with him but dislike him at the same time because of his cowardice.Last edited by alltrapbrah; 08-31-2021 at 03:30 AM.

The Night House (2021) - 4/5
Apparently the script for this film was a pitch for a Hellraiser project. Without revealing too much, the films deals with heavy themes of grief and suicide. I think some of the supernatural elements get a bit too literal during the climax but the sound design and overall tone of the film is very good.
Rebecca Hall is the lead. I believe it’s only in theaters RNLast edited by CherryPopinski; 09-07-2021 at 05:43 PM.
No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.

Malignant on HBOMax. Got a feeling folks are either going to love this or hate it. Put me in the love category. Started off with very much a standard 70's/80's horror look and vibe. Took a turn toward crazy town in the last act that will be the defining moment for most.
I watched it with my daughter and her boyfriend and we were trying to figure out what caused what and what would happen next for a lot of the movie. I like that. A couple of good gory kills and some good suspense and jump scares.
8/10 for me.Early AM workout crew.

saw Malignant in the theater over the weekend.
not a bad watch! I think the big screen helped, adds something to a moive.
It had some good kills and it was fun to watch the mystery unfold and try to figure out what was going on.
Definitely was corny at times, lol @ the John wick style fight at the police station

Funny, I just watched this last week. I agree with your review...at least it had Michael Rooker.
Freaky
This started out amazing with some awesome kills. I thought it was going to be a great homage to the slasher genre. In the end, it became a much more modern mainstream horror with a lot of woke elements (so tired of this) - love Vince Vaughn though.
