I’m not that bothered by the small **** you can do yourself but I’m not touching a second hand 6.0 without apr studs , resurfaced heads and new gaskets.

Maybe if it’s some boomercel selling it with low miles and it’s a 05-07 for the right price then I’d buy it , get heads done then sell my V10 truck and use a small portion of it for the rest of the stuff from BDS.

I don’t care which of the big 3 I even get , last resort for a diesel is buying a 24v/12v in the PNW. Clean trucks go for a very reasonable price up there.

I saw a nice black one I really liked with a 5 spd, absolutely beautiful 2nd gen. 4x4 sport package. 140k miles , 17k$ asking price.


I know what you’re thinking, just look for a v8 light duty truck. I don’t really need a diesel.

Well that’s the thing , I did that before and saw the price gouging for hemi 3rd gen Rams and Gmc Sierras/silverados and noped the **** out. I love ford but their awesome trucks are in the superduty line up before the brought the coyote 5.0.

I hate that 3v 5.4 motor too. 2v is a nice , economic and dependable option for a truck.

Light duty gassers are going for what diesels did before this nonsense with more miles.

If I be patient I’m sure I’ll find something boyos but atleast I already have a nice truck with lower miles and runs well.

Worse case I don’t buy another truck at all and just by a car and fix the panel damage on my f250. The v10 is a beast for a gas motor.

My truck has the c3 axle code too which means it came with 4:30 towing gears. If I slam the gas this thing will rip all the tread off my AT tires if needs too lmao
