I'm just thankful they came this far
Ronaldo has been playing since before Iniesta made his debut at Barca, Lahm at Bayern and Rooney at Everton. He now has the 4th most appearances of any outfield player ever, 59 more than Maldini and 64 more than Giggs
Not saying they're done by any means yet though6'1, 205 lbs

UEFA of peace... should've known there was no way they were letting madrid advance, horribly corrupt sport
anyway, on a more positive note, surely messi a lock for ballon d'or?
benzema and son are really the only other guys that have impressed me this season
don't think they have the clout and media behind them to have a chance tho
so that puts messi on 7...
gets harder and harder to argue his not the 3rd GOAT behind maradona and bale..

If City win the UCL I would put Ruben Dias way up there in Ballon D'or contention.. There's no clear winner this year. Messi is on 27 goals and 10 assists in 28 games but overall Barcelona have botched this season..
Ronaldo is on 19 goals and 3 assists in 30 games and this is Juventus worst season of the last decade
Lewandowski is on 24 goals and 3 assists in 18 games - If he breaks the scoring record for bundesliga next match I think he should take it..
If city win UCL I have
1. Ruben Dias
2. Lewandowski
3. Messi
If city don't win
1. Lewandowski
2. Messi
3. Ruben Dias

Lmfao keeping coping. Summer 2016 pretty much ended the Messi vs Ronaldo debate. That's not even mentioning the 3peat Ronaldo led Madrid to after.
COPE
Anyways, Lol at Liverpool. Don't mind United reserves losing to LFC now that Liverpool misses top 4. Onto winning the Europa league and taking the CL next season. I'm starting to think Ole is building Mason Greenwood to be his future 9. No need for spending 150m+ on Haaland when United's academy actually produce quality players every other season.
Balon D'or should go to Lewandoski btw. Absolutely killed it this season and the two games get misses Bayern get eliminated from the CL. Says it all.Manchester United

damn... totally forgot about ruben dias
if there was an award for cb of the year rd places 1 2 3 but for me ballon d'or's an attacker's trophy
yes he completely transformed that city defence but it's goals and assists that wins games and he is nowhere near it
i think a bronze ball placing is fair recognition for his season
-----
imo part of being poty is staying fit and seeing the season through
players need to be there at least 80% of the games especially at the business end and lewandowski hasn't done that
him not being there and bayern getting ko in cl disqualifies him for consideration imo
so we're left with messi...

Age plays a factor as well... 2016 was 5 years ago.. 5 years ago for a 36 year old in a professional sport is HUGE. That being said, the italian league is also really weak, 30% of his goals have been penalties and he struggles to score from outside the box. He averages a goal every 2 games without penalties.. That's ridiculously good for a guy his age.
I don't think this should take anything away from him though.

CR7 scores 70% of Juve's goals in the CL and 90% in the KO stages of the CL and mofos tryna pin it on him that they ain't the best team in the world at 36 years old? Lmfao you really do see who watches football or not daily.

You can't pin it on him.. But there's no way around it that Juve is poorly managed, and buying CR7 was a poor decision. The get the ball to Ronaldo strategy at his age, instead of rebuilding the team was a terrible decision.
Juve was stronger before Ronaldo arrived because they had an identity and gameplan. When the team started to decline they made the wrong decisions

Those times were special man. That tournament is when i fell in love with the Azzurri. But look at the squads that tournament.WC 98 WC94 Euro 96.Just amazing times.Glad i got too bask in the afterglow of those times by seeing the late 90s footie although WC 94 was the first time i saw some football. So much nostalgia rn.

I argue that the team is not so bad, but ffs people gotta realize their coach is an absolute amateur. The gamble Juve played thinking Pirlo would be Zidane or Guardiola (both had previously coached Barca/RM's youth teams) blew up in their face. GOATS still GOAT no matter how thrash the manager is. I mean Ronaldo still breaking record (fastest to 100 in Juve at 36? Mindblowing stat meanwhile Dybala been there twice as long as just broke it.
Anyways, Ronaldo to PSG is the move. It might seem cowardly, but it's what's best for Juve, Ronaldo, and PSG because most likely Mbappe is gone this summer or the next and PSG need the one motherfuker that can pull any team to that final hurdle in the CL. Also, it's actually not cowardly. Nobody would blame Messi for fuking off from Barca and going to City that's just made the final, but they'll get on Ronaldo's ass for dumping Juve and their dumbass coaching decision? C'mon.Manchester United

Juve has a shet midfield. Pretty much comes down to that. Also a rapidly aging defence and a sub par goalkeeper. They were relying on Ronaldo far too much. He'll bang in his share every year, but if nobody else contributes (especially from midfield and defence), you're left with little to compete with the current Inter/Milan squads who have great balance.
