still waiting for the next-gen update AND for my ordered Series X to arrive... have heard nothing from the store
While we dearly wanted to deliver Patch 1.2 for Cyberpunk 2077 in the timespan we detailed previously, the recent cyber attack on the studio’s IT infrastructure and extensive scope of the update mean this unfortunately will not happen — we’ll need some additional time.
Our goal for Patch 1.2 goes beyond any of our previous updates. We’ve been working on numerous overall quality improvements and fixes, and we still have work to do to make sure that’s what you get. With that in mind, we’re now aiming for release in the second half of March.
It’s not the news we enjoy sharing, but we want to make sure we launch this update properly. Stay tuned for more information as the time draws closer. Thank you for your continued patience and support.

Played the game for 185hrs and only encountered some minors bugs on PC. Steam reviews are overwhelmingly mostly positively.
Trust me it wouldn't get a mostly positive rating on steam if it's that buggy. I find Steam reviews the most reliable when it comes to PC games.
But I heard they will have a big update coming, and it probably will fix everything up even the minor bugs. So you might wanna wait for that.

Steam reviews are brutal when it comes to bugs. There's a lot of great games with great story and gameplay that got mostly negative reviews in Steam and its because of bugs. If bugs are making the game unenjoyable, trust me it'll get bad reviews on Steam. I myself only encountered minor bugs. Heck the bugs in other games are worse, specially on Fall Out games, Total War, etc.

It honestly wasn't bad at all on the Playstation 5, I didn't encounter any bugs. I deleted the game because it's outdated, will pick back up when the next gen version is released. As of right now, only PC players can experience the game in it's full blown glory.
I trust CD Projekt Red, this game has tons of potential the coming years, just gotta help last gen noobs out.

You're flat out lying or something is wrong with your ****. I don't even have as good of a CPU as you and it runs fine for me.
3600X
3080 FTW3
32GB 3200mhz
And I run the game at 60+ (capped to 60 with riva tuner) at 3440X1440 resolution, all ultra settings, ray tracing on, and DLSS set to quality. I drop into the 50's occasionally in areas with lots of pedestrians but that's about it. Far from anything I'd say that "runs like chit" considering how this game looks and RTX on.

Sure it does. There's literally nothing in this game that's fast paced enough to notice or need more than 60fps lmao.
How do you watch television if you need more than 60 FPS to not get "eye cancer"? Because most tv shows and movies aren't even shot at 30.
Please tell me what game looks better, because I legitimately want to play it. I've been asking since launch and yet not 1 single person can ever post a game that looks better (or even as good).
Don't say RDR2, because that game looks like ass in comparison. There's a thick ass haze/film grain in the game that makes everything look almost cloudy and it isn't a setting you can turn off.Last edited by R3L3NTL3SS; 05-01-2021 at 09:10 AM.

It's a first person shooter and I play with keyboard and mouse. There is a significant difference between 60 vs 100fps in this case, the feel, the responsiveness, the smoothness is terrible. I had to run all high, no RTX, DLSS on balanced to maintain acceptable FPS (100+) and it still dropped to 70 in crowded areas.
Movies vs interactive games, tvs vs monitors, etc. is not a valid comparison.
Visuals are all subjective and usually based on opinion. I think Cyberpunk looks fantastic in some areas, but very average and patchy in the majority of it. Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Hellblade, Hitman 3, modded GTAV, modded Skyrim, Control, Metro Exodus, etc. rival and sometimes surpass CP2077 with much better performance. Photo mode is not something you should use for comparisons either. CP2077 can look good, but not sub 100fps on a RTX 3080 with DLSS good....
Take a look closely in the city walking around, it's all copy paste, frequent low res textures, broken lighting, blur, pop-in, etc. not much to it. The indoor scenes look nice but.
