"
These results show that PP intake alters body composition by reducing skeletal muscle mass and liver weight as well as muscle contractility and lipid metabolism. Adding a complete protein such as C might partially counteract these adverse effects."
Does anyone know what exactly this study means ? I thought peanut butter is great for bodybudilding but I found this study after a research.
Opinions ?

Does entirely natural peanut butter taste any kind of good? For 27 years I’ve passed by it on the shelf after looking at the price and never bothered. I imagine it’s something like dark chocolate to milk chocolate

Not at all like dark vs milk chocolate. To compare, take a handful of roasted peanuts and eat them. Next take a Tbsp of vegetable oil and stick it in your mouth, then stick a Tbsp of table sugar in your mouth, now throw a handful of peanuts in your mouth and chew it all up together, so you get a nice sweet and greasy taste and mouthfeel. Thats the main difference

Well it’s not like peanut butter is the only thing I buy every week nor my number 1 priority.
It’s easy to say something isn’t THAT expensive when you don’t know what someone’s budget is, what they are saving for, what they’re paying off, etc.
But if I try it and think it’s worth the extra money each week, I’m sure it’ll become a part of my pickup.
Also, most of it being TOO EXPENSIVE to even try was just me trying to be funny. I just suck arse in that arena..Life is constant learning. Give advice about things you know. Ask questions about things you don't.

If you have Trader Joe’s near you I think its like $1.89 a jar. If you splurge for the Organic Valencia then its like $3.89. My other go to is Laura Scudders crunchy at Target. There is also one at Walmart that is pretty cheap but I forget the brand. But yeah, $2 is hardly expensive.

I think its because of the fad of nut milks. Almonds used to be barely more than peanuts. Once almond milk took off the prices like tripled. Cashews were always more but have steadily increased.
I’m guessing with the rise in oatmilk trend that oats will soon be no longer staple priced.2 time survivor of The Great Misc Outages of 2022
