Upping the weight by 10lbs on each side every workout, felt good today. Didn't record the bench but bench wet very well! Back still feel good, heading to the chiropractor tomorrow for another session.

LWW those 20 rep squats are impressive man. Lots a grit to knock those reps out.
BH, nice to see the progress there. Form looks great!
Dr Pepper, weight looks light but it looks like your knees and elbows are in each other’s way. Maybe bring your grip width in slightly and see if they feel smoother.
Ezra, squats are looking better!
Here is more meniscus rehab work today. I am still having knee pain and pain behind my left knee but it seems to get marginally better week to week.
185 x 8 RDLs.

My knee Dr has me on no workout restrictions, my vein Dr said no leg workouts until the clot is gone.
I figure these really aren’t that much of a “leg” workout.
Yes I do have another surgery, but it won’t be until around Thanksgiving of this year. I am hoping my lack of cartilage in my knee won’t hurt to much between now and then.

It's an even number, LOL, but it's actually my PR. I could've done another one but on rep 20 (or 19) I drove my head back while going down and jerked it too hard, I immediately felt a headache, so I got my 22 and stopped. The headache was mild but enough to fuk me up for the rest of the day. I popped an IB and it went away, but it slowly returning (I won't pop another one unless it gets worse). Feels like a small tweak in the neck, but the slight throbbing shoots to the head.
My best 20 rep squat was a couple years ago 266 x 21, so I think I'll need to try 275 x 20 on the last week.
Lesson learned, do NOT drive the head up with weight on the back. The tall dude tan dude walking around my gym, he's my homeboy from way back, we started lifting together at like 21, was a heavy 250# teenager, when we were like 22-23 he did 250x20 and he said he looked up and got the worst headache ever, he said it lasted for 3 months and couldn't do much in that time, training that hard ain't worth that.
Gotta be real careful squatting high reps, but I love them.

Did my high volume machine upper today, 65 minutes / 44 sets 7-12 rep range. Squats, deads and cardio tomorrow. Hitting 6 days per week lately lifting 4 (2 cardio only). Dieting is easy mode right now but will get harder later when I get closer to where I want to be.
Pretty good “Great Lecture” on Amazon prime called “Changing Body Composition Through Diet and Exercise”. Some of it is pretty basic, but a lot of it is good. Guy is a tri-athelete PhD. Gets into science one episode is on supplements. Covers a lot, pretty good background noise.

My son hit his milestone 315lbs for 5x5, struggled on his last rep but this was his last set of 5x5, proud of him! I did 5 sets of 20 reps to make up for the lost workout on Monday MLK closed gym, went up by another 10lbs on each side, back still feeling great, form still on point.
Father and son..

Well shoot I hope it goes well!
Git 'er done! I tell my son 4 plates is big boy weight! :P
Dang I missed this feedback. I'll give it a shot. I like to have my hands at least partially on the knurling - they are halfway on in the video - otherwise it starts to get pretty slippery. It's never too late!

Mon/Tues didn't get to work out due to my partner being out of town.
So Monday squat day turned into Wed squat day - and it was a doozy!
3x3 1 sec pause narrow squats @355/375/395 - moved really well! Unfortunately, my attempt to record it didn't work out well, the camera slipped and missed the squats.
395 is only 7 pounds less than my comp squat in October although I already know I can do quite a bit more - felt really good!
2x8 1 1/4 squats narrow stance @295
2x8 RDL @ 225

3x12 reverse lunges
2x12 lat pull downs (light)It's never too late!
