Pulled the plug on my GHIV after the zoom meeting today.... earnings not being presented till after merger and an overall vibe over the internet of people looking to dump this thing before merger or at a certain price (with no reasoning).

I don't play as big as you guys but I made a couple hundred on it.

Yeah the valuation is the only thing giving me any reservations. But then I think of Lumimar getting a 4.5B valuation and wonder if it even matters anymore.

If it turns out that CCIV isn't the target - how fast will the price drop? Instantly?

I'd bet institutional investors would cause that for the most part, but where are they getting their info? Somewhere us plebs can't access?

I'm thinking to sit it out until news drops, already made $8k off CCIV. Wouldn't mind buying in higher once I know it's legit. Currently have 1k shares @ $14.2 or so, would like to add more but only if news drops.

It would drop immediately. You'd never be able to beat the fire sale.

If you wait for a DA to drop to buy in you're likely going to be paying north of 18 or 20 just keep that in mind

Geez, that's nuts. You think it'd be an instant drop to $10? I mean there's quite a bit of retail investors too, I'm guessing it'd drop to like $12 for a bit?

I saw a similar scenario today at the start of that 3:30 conference call when it dipped from mid 14s to mid 13s in a matter of seconds. You're thinking it would dip faster than that?

If it were to happen, I'd be getting out with $4k profit instead of $8k.. which isn't the end of the world I guess. Definitely not adding anymore now though, unless I see a price lower than my cost basis which I doubt.

Wouldn't drop to 10 but likely to around 11 pretty much instantly.

Sold a little over half my CCIV hoping to re-enter $14.5 or something.

PSTH still up really high which is unusual. CRHC holding close to $11 and warrants $2+ which is nice having 1,000 at near $1.3


Might sell some CCIV puts in hopes we get an announcement soon.

I sold half my CCIV as well.. holding a measly 500 shares now. The way I see it, there's several stages of upside if the rumors are true.. we won't jump to anything crazy early on. I'd rather go all in at $20-25 with no risk and enjoy an upside all the way up to $100.

Sell puts with me. $15 strike for February I sold for $280 each. Worst that happens I own it at $12.2 which is significantly better than buying it at $15 which its trading at now.

So you are selling the option to buy CCIV at a strike price of $15 or less?

If strike is reached on expiry, you're agreeing to purchase CCIV for $15 and sell it at either $15 or lower?

Are you doing naked or cash secured?

Whaaat? Bruh here it is:

I am doing cash/margin secured put. I am selling the put at strike $15. This means I will have to buy at 15-the premium I collect which is 2.8= if the shares fall below $12.2 I become the buyer of the shares with cost basis at $12.2

Basically as I take risk off the table selling shares I buy these to hopefully just collect premium. Instead of buying/holding shares at 15 and potentially losing $5 per share if it drops to $10 I'll only drop $2.2 per share instead. These expire in Feburary so expiration is pretty quick and IV is very very high.

My portfolio is looking solid right now for sure. I've over 4x my initial investment since April, would be 6x if I paid my LOC loan back that I used as leverage for trading.
