I need one of my damn spacs to do something here soon it feels like I'm rocking a boomer account, trading sideways the last 2 weeks.

What's sad is that I was listening to a YT channel last night that did a 10 SPACs to watch and IPOE was on it. I was going to put a little cash into it this morning, but work got nuts from the get-go and I never got around to looking into it. Then it mooned.

Yeah I cheaped out on IPOE a few weeks ago, looked into buying warrants on either it or IPOF but they were both trading at a pretty steep premium so put my money elsewhere and then watched IPOE warrants go up over 100% today at one point. Such is life.

Any predictions on NIO day? Been hodoling since $42 and thinking of putting papers on sale for $60 because it's 50/50 whether moon or dirt after the big day. 2 last nio days it went up, 2 it dropped.

OTOH, there's big money moving into it again, couple of cool bill was added by whales. Blackberry up by 5% as well, if they lock the Amazon deal in for IoT tracking devices hoping for solid gains.

Was exceptionally happy when I woke up this morning (Aus timezone) to see that my 13 ARKK shares have jumped up $186. Meanwhile yáll boyos rolling in the Ks. Jelly!

Question:
I will be able to invest $1000 a fortnight - is it worth just continually buying ARKK/ARKG each fortnight - even though i'll only be able to buy a handful each time?

Or does it get to a point where I should just focus on buying shares/mutual fund investments that are much shorter priced per unit so I can buy a greater amount each time?

The amount of shares is irrelevant. Buying a good fund is more important then just having a large volume of 'cheap' shares.


Keep dollar cost averaging into ARKK and ARKG. Every time you get paid. Don't bother trying to buy/sell stocks. Just go balls deep into those two funds. Eventually your gains will be in the thousands.

"'don't sell a share" just doesn't sound right. if he is right and it goes to $3,200 post split idk what to say tbh, imagine the p/e ratio. for him to say that prolly knows something we don't, nothing make sense anymore, fundamentals don't matter. i got out early. i don't invest in things i don't understand. no shares for me but i'll still buy a put here and there for the lulz tho.

ARKK/ARKG isn't something like SPY. I wouldn't blindly dollar cost average without looking at the price. Buy on dips.

And like guest89 said, the amount of shares doesn't matter. It's arbitrary. Well, for the most part. It's much easier to scale in with stocks that have low share prices.

Lowest rating for Tesla from analyst is $578 post merger.

This is pure hedge funds phuckery that is moving Tesla vertical.

If you had $10 million burning in your pocket would you drop it on Tesla $1200 calls that would expiry worthless in 2 weeks.

On 500k car sales last year Tesla market cap has doubled since Elon said at $420 they should go private.
