I'm embarrassed to say I was into aggressive blading briefly back in the mid-90's. You put smaller wheels with more firm compound in the middle for sick rail grinding. That's also why the frame is curved. They didn't make curved frames back then so we would manually grove them. Back then there was this massive ******* named Arlo Eisenberg who was basically the face of aggressive skating.

Meet him a couple times but he faded out fast. Friends & I got into skating back in the day as well, good buddy got sponsored back then too..

someone needs to invent rollerblades where you can take the blade/wheels off and put them in your pocket so you can walk around in the shoe part like normal. Then you can go in stores and chit without having to take the roller blades off.
