I’ve never noticed texted vids being blurry. I’ll look into the ap, just tried to download but I need a password. I’ll have to check with my wife since I don’t have an Apple account either, our personal phones are hooked up to her’s. Electronically, it’s like I don’t even exist. Actually, I just don’t like messing around with tech stuff and she does, so anything tech related I pretty much just hand to her and say “fix women”.
Edit to add, Is it okay to send to send ghey pronz over what’sap? Just curiousLast edited by Plateauplower; 12-10-2020 at 01:42 PM.

I told the wife I needed that ap. She quizzed me on why I needed that, like I was planning on hooking up with someone or something. So then I showed her my post from 3:35, which I forgot about the edit. She read and was like WTF cause of the ghey pronz reference So then I had to show her IDs post. It was hilarious.
After that she determined I already had a google account (news to me) and sorted that out. She probably set both my google and YouTube account originally lol.
So anyway I have access to YouTube again and my wife thinks I’m ghey.
This was from the other day (2 sessions ago).

Been squatting 3x a week with this damn budging disk and taking it real slow, but my legs (imo are starting to respond) took this pic this morning.
On my way to see the doc, but if he is not giving me the injection I am wondering what is the visit for? Anyway I will update the visits outcome once I am backOn the list for Bannukah

Nice man! I have always struggled to find a way to do them comfortably where I dont feel like I am going to tip over! I dont have a handle like that. Does it help at all?
And tell your wife it's not ghey. Now if BH posted the pick as he did above, and you wish he was not covering his crotch....well that is another story
OH yea, I can smell the kerosene from here. LOVE me a tor**** heater! Respect!RAW lifts

I find if I get in the right position it isn't bad on my lower back, but I know exactly what you mean, I've felt lower back strain when doing them before from both being too far away from or too far over the handle. If I find the sweet spot I feel it in my upper bask and hamstrings. That was only 100 (25s for more ROM) on my first set, I went up to 150 by the third set. I've never done them with much more than 180 though, and usually go higher on regular BB BORs. I did those last session and went up to an easy 185 for sets of ten. The nice thing about the garage gym is I just leave my WO sheets on my work bench to see where I was at on the previous session.
As mentioned above I have to be in the right spot to make them feel right. The handle is a bodysolid handle and I really like where it hits my back, much different feel from the cable row handle I used previously. I run Diesel in the heater (it will burn Diesel 1&2, jet fuel, or Kerosene) , K1 would be a lot cleaner, but its only available in 5 gal jugs near me and about 5X the price of diesel. Once it gets going it doesn't smell too bad with diesel. Uninsulated 2.5 car garage starts off cold but gets warm quick with 60K BTUs.
Its my 41st Birthday today, and my wife sent me a happy birthday text earlier with a MEME of a bunch of male strippers. Said she was laughing so hard she almost choked on her breakfast

So yeah the doc said the following which means nothing to me,
1. You have no pain in your back which is great - He may me do all kinds of bending twisting and nothing cause pain. I kept telling him I don't have back pain, just leg numbness/pain.
2. You have tingling pain in your legs which the MRI doesn't show so I want to do xray as I think you might have a small fracture on your spine that either you were born with, happen in your car accident or due to deadlifting.
3. If the Xray don't show anything then I want to do a CT scan.
OK I am no doctor but I asked him what is the difference between an MRI (which I already did and they said I have a budging disk in L4/L5) and a CT scan. He said the CT scan will reveal more..Then why the fck didn't we do that first and why are we going to do an Xray first THEN a CT scan????
I dunno man these freaking doctors are making me think they just want more money
At the very least he told me that my working out is strengthening the area (deadlifts specifically) and to keep doing them. He also gave me a compliment stating most folks over the age of 40 suffer some kind of back pain and since I don't have any back pain whatsoever he was amazed. On the list for Bannukah

Well, I'm all in for accountability.
I tried to squat for the first time in 3 months. I did no-handed just so I could go lighter with a little more challenge on lower back. 225 felt OK, but I put 315 on next and had to stop after 2 reps. Not great, but I am going to see if I can condition my lower back to handle some tension over time. It's been pretty rough lately.
I hate to even do this next one. I have in years past make progress crappy posing vids. Looking back at some, I am not looking all that well. In light of the last couple years and not being able to train as I would like, I dont think it is as bad as it could be. But it is safe to say I have fallen off a lot. I let my weight drift up about 10lbs. 213 in vid. I have definitely lost all around, but again, this is not about looking great, but rather being honest and accountable.
Lighting is a little washed out, but I cant blame that as much as I would like. Certainly need to tighten up a bit!

No hand squats are crazy!!
Tonight I dropped the weight on squats from 225lbs to 185lbs and did 5 sets of 5, last time I only got 3 reps at 225lbs and felt that was too heavy too quickly so I went back down. I wont move up until this weight feels easy.
But I upped the weight in BOR to 185lbs as there is now discomfort on my lower back on this at all.On the list for Bannukah

Wow LWW solid set of squats! Impressed with the high reps sets.
ID I’m soft too. I let my weight hit an artificial (bloated heavy) weight of 220 several weeks ago. I’m dieting now and planning to get back to the 190s. I have continued to lift through the pandemic but it’s hasn’t been as consistent (mostly due to work the first several months).
BH nothing wrong with backing down if your back isn’t feeling squats. I just stop usually when I get that feeling like something isn’t right. Sometimes I get under the bar and it feels like I have compression on a disc or nerve in my lower back and I just stop. The weird thing is it’s sporadic and some days I can bang out decent weights without pain (then I’m sore AF for several days).

I can definitely notice the additional mass at the body weight, ID. Looking huge.......but are those some white hairs I see peaking out from under the sides of that hat???
Agreed. I don't go higher than 12 reps on squats cuz it just gasses me out. LWW has some lungs to go with his strength.Epic Beard Man crew

Figure I'll add a little more to this party. Building that barndoor back in my workout this morning.
Sorry for the camera view, but it's a scientific fact that women prefer a man with a strong muscular butt! LOL!
I do a couple different Back days per week and they always tend to be my best workouts for whatever reason.

True story. I played some football in college and that is where the gal who eventually became my wife said she first noticed me--so you may be onto something there, broseph.
Oh I normally blast music or a podcast through my blue tooth speaker, but this was an early morning session and my oldest daughter's room is down there--so I opted for my ear buds instead so as not to be super loud.Epic Beard Man crew

Oh....I get it.... You guys are saying I am getting fat and old
j/k. Yea, I am about 10lbs heavier than where I would be in REALLY good shape. I lost the lower abdominal veins, that is for sure! As for the gray....it's in full effect on the sides. Last couple years I am being overtaken! All good though. Still hanging on to most of my hair although it is not in my genes to do so. My brother 5 years older is down to peach fuzz, and I have pretty much followed again along the same path he has.
I am going to keep accountable here. Just working to find the path forward. I have to take small victories at this point.
Excited to watch your guys progress also!RAW lifts
