Too much coconut! I like chocolate and coconut BUT the mounds is too coconut heavy... almond joy does way better IMO because the almond gives it an extra flavor and texture.
They're not BAD, I just can't really get behind having more than like 1 of them.
I also have a weird fondness for candy corn... ever since I was a kid"When I die, I hope it's early in the morning so I don't have to go to work that day for no reason"

Hmmmm. Aight, well I actually have to admit that I haven't had Mounds since I last went trick-or-treating, which was roughly 13-14 years ago IIRC. I thought it was the exact same thing as an Almond Joy, which I'm a giant fan of, so I figured it was the same. I've probably only ever had Mounds maybe 2-3x in my life and they were fun size, and it was always after trick-or-treating because they're a wildly unpopular candy. You bros are probably right that it's not as good and that the coconut is overbearing, but all I think of when I think of Mounds is Almond Joys and being confused as to what they were. I also am strangely fond of candy corn, too, and it was actually still a close call between the two. Now, all this being said you'd think I'd switch my vote to candy corn, but I'm gonna just go ahead and stay with my original picks because I'M MY OWN MAN & I wanna be edgy and different.

Well they’ll be no trick or treating for us in LA this year as the Communists have banned it lol
That said I think in all defense of coconut, looking back to that fateful Mounds day as a kid, I think it was the CONSISTENCY more than the lopsided coconut-chocolate ratio perhaps of the coconut that had me turned off.
I had to relive that day all over. Omg. It was terrible. lol.
Some of my post has CNN drama overtones to itNASM CPT

Ahhhh tell me about it, bro. I HATE living in this state rn. It sucks so damn bad having Halloween cancelled rn...and presumably Thanksgiving & Christmas too I suppose. Have you seen the "requirements" from Newsom for Thanksgiving gatherings? L O fuking L! Idk how safe I feel traveling either, so the holidays may just be out this year. Oh, & don't even get me started on the doom and gloom from dat dere "news" media. As fed up as I am with politics, I hate those talking heads over at CNN and Fox news more than ANY politician out there. They're the slickest of all snakes.
I agree coconut needs to be tempered and now I'm curious with what boo's saying about the texture. I might needa hunt down some Mounds to try tonight to see if my experience is similar to you bros.
Word. If red vines were on the list, they definitely would've replaced my controversial Mounds pick in a heartbeat.
