I manhandled the **** out of this ssd and broke it. Does it look repairable?

Lots of GPU talk ITT.
I'm having some issues boys and it's making me rage hard. I play Dota 2 and the game needs lots of clicks and they need to be precise. Been using a basic computer mouse ever since but they go bad so easily and then eventually stop registering clicks sometimes, double clicking etc. Chit is making me rage and I need a good mouse. Can someone recommend one from logitech or steelseries?Last edited by Coal Man; 09-11-2020 at 01:32 PM.

The Logitech G Pro wireless is pretty much the king... A lot of it is personal preference.
However, if you are using a "normal mouse" spending $130 on a mouse seems a bit overkill.
The Corsair Harpoon Wireless was my compromise very solid for $50.Finance Degree - USAF INTEL - IIFYM - Injured Crew - KTM XCW300 - Single Track Trail Rider - NRA Supporter - Shunned from MFC - Libertarian - Pragmatist

Two things in life right now that I'm aiming for: Getting big and very lean, and the other is making lots of money so I can shove it in peoples faces that didn't give me the time.

how come
I currently get 200-300 maxed on cs and valorant, obviously more frames here would be pointless but why would 1080p bottleneck more than say 1440p
Is it some sort of diminishing returns type thing where the cpu can only handle so many frames even though it could be more stressed
I have a 2060super so basically a 2070 currentlyGreat MAGA King status

So I'm going to build my son a PC for Christmas.
Don't want to wait too long and risk things being OOS before Christmas, but also don't want to order parts too soon and not be able to return/swap possible DoA parts. Wot do?
On that note, any of you coming off of an RTX 2000 card for a good price and going to RTX 3000? (Looking for a 2060 or possibly 2070 if price is right.)

They hiked the price up almost 100 bucks 30 minutes after I bought ^.^
(I had a 10% coupon that I could apply + 4% cashback).
Now I just had to assess if my PSU actually had enough cables to run it, the curse of still using a bronze psu (CX750M) I bought when I was on a shoestring budget.
I think I am in the clear though, saw on Paul's hardware that Zotac had adapters in the box (8x to molex) so that it might run fine.

TLDR version:
The human eye isn't very good at telling frame differences post 120 hz.
The CPU draws the lines (and deals with enemy behaviors) and the GPU paints it.
The 2060S has more than enough juice to paint at 1080p 144+. Beyond that the CPU will start to choke on managing the lines and behaviors beyond a certain FPS and you won't get gains anymore.
I am buying a 3070 for 1080P gaming, but that is only because I am planning on buying a 1440p monitor after.Finance Degree - USAF INTEL - IIFYM - Injured Crew - KTM XCW300 - Single Track Trail Rider - NRA Supporter - Shunned from MFC - Libertarian - Pragmatist

Got done with my 10 year old son's Christmas PC last night. It's pretty solid for the games he plays.
Ryzen 3400G
EVGA GTX 1080
16GB Corsair Dominator ram
1tb SSD
Runs all his games at 120 frames on high settings. Fortnite needed a little bit of settings played with to do 120 without dips. I think he'll be happy with it.
On another note, the Cougar MX330-G Air is an AIDS case to build in. Looks wise, it's fantastic for the money, especially considering it comes with 3 120MM LED fans pre installed and I was surprised to see that at $52, the side panel is real glass, not acrylic. But that's literally all the good I can say about it.
