Lmao a lot of powerlifters these days aren't fat fuks like back then in the 90s and 2000s. Some of them look good even though their main focus is strength and not hypertrophy. If you actually watch powerlifting videos on YouTube or go on IG you can see that even natural lifters have a decent physique let alone enhanced lifters whose physique is incredible for being a powerlifter.
Why don't you post a picture of yourself and your physique instead of talking chit about other people who are dedicated to the gym and won't settle for average and mediocrity? I bet you won't *******.Training Log:

Lmao
When I was just out of college I had one solid year where I lifted. And by lifted, I mean:
-only 1 rest day a week
-religiously hit the big compounds
-never missed a meal
-never touched alcohol
-ate enough food
-are/drank every available legal supplement
-ate only good quality food
-got enough sleep
DOMS every day, drop sets, 10x10 volume, etc
I already had a solid work ethic from boxing so just applied it to something different
The gains were plentiful.
The reality is very few people have the will to sustain that lifestyle (obviously I do not) so either accept mediocre progress or turn to the dark side to get the same results without the same lifestyle restrictions.
Admitting you aren’t willing to make the sacrifices to get gains as a natty is fine, but saying it’s not possible is copeLast edited by r32gojirra; 09-08-2020 at 04:27 AM.

The physique in OP is actually pretty good, most lifters don't even achieve that since they are perma bulk mode. Also just LOL @ worrying about small details to max out as a natty,80-90% of your progress is made in the first couple of years,no point in giving so much effort just to get those last 10-20% of gains which will not be that noticeable anyways

If you have good genetics and a good work ethic, and you are consistent, you will achieve a great physique naturally. If you have bad genetics i wouldnt even waste my time and id focus only on staying in good shape but hey, thats my opinion.
"The flowers bloom, then wither... The stars shine and one day become extinct. This earth, the sun, the galaxies and even the big universe, someday will be destroyed. Compared with that, the human life is only a blink, just a little time. In that short time - people are born, laugh, cry, fight, are injured, feel joy, sadness, hate someone, love someone. All in just a moment. And then, are embraced by the eternal sleep called death."

2nd picture guy could easily be short as well. Therefore he looks wider and thicker. Don't know what his stats are.
Most of the really jacked natural guys at my gym are also under 5'10'' and have shorter arms and legs. Therefore lifting heavier is generally easier and adding muscle onto their frame makes them look denser.
Ectomorph crew meanwhile cries in the corner like me. Long femurs, long humerus and narrow clavicle crew. I'd have to go on sauce if I wanted to look big, it's just the short end of the genetic stick when it comes to weightlifting. I'm built for running and endurance, not strength.

Lifter or bodybuilder?
Natty lifters typically just do it for the hobby and for the exercise. Absolutely nothing wrong with this type of lifter. Most are not serious and I think the majority know that there are limitations and don't expect to be the next Arnold.
Natty bodybuilding has been, and always will be, an absolute joke filled with newbies, delusional *******s, and conmen. Fortunately most serious bodybuilders realize this once they start hitting their peak after about a year or two, and realize the gains have stopped.
You can get pretty yoked as a natty though. I was repping 245x12 on the bench, and was a leanish 175lbs at 5'9". My gains ground to a halt around 160lbs though, and I spent 3 years putting on that 15lbs, and put fat on in the process.
Life is absolutely brutal for a natty after a certain point.Misc Entrepreneur Crew
