Goal: 215 lbs
Jul 1: 246 lbs (weighed in at 250 a week ago before I started this cardio regimen, good signs so far)
Jul 8: 241.4 (took Saturday and Sunday off to rest, bad runners knee went too hard too fast- diet still in check)
Jul 15: 237.2 (steady progress, feeling good)
Jul 22: 234.4 (Bad week all around, poor choices)
Jul 29: 234.2 (rest & recovery week)
Aug 5: 233.6 (started int fasting)

Modifying my original goal of 220 to 215 to motivate myself. Weeks I am disciplined I am dropping 3-4 pounds. With 7 weeks to go, 15.8 more should be no problem (2.25/week average needed). 5 miles a day walk/jog + 30-minute swim (5 days/week) and fasting dinner.
~600 cal breakfast
~800 cal lunch
~200 cal protein shake after workout

Another week gone by and back to home workouts again since my gym re-closed. Still seeing good progress so I plan on just riding out the current plan until the end or until I hit 199 lbs. Still eating between 2500-2600 calories per day.

All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.
Don't be upset with the results you didn't get from the work you did not do.

You should re-evaluate your plan, your calories are moving into dangerously low territory for someone your size and at 1600 cals you're below your minimums for protein (0.7g minimum per lb of bodyweight for muscle retention) and fats (0.4g per lb of bodyweight for proper organ and hormone function).
You should aim for no more than about 1% of your overall bodyweight lost per week. All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

Water boyos. Was down as low as 79.1kg at points this week but had a maintenance day and bad sleep. Still gotta be honest for the sacred friday weigh in!

You are almost there, good job!
Do you feel that you're reaching your goal, not only in terms of body weight but also in terms of actual looks?
Also - good that you're honest with the weigh ins on Fridays, some people don't input their numbers unless they have actually made progress lol, which is never a good mindset.Powerlifting 2020

I did not do any cardio this week because my feet hurt from the last session. I'm going to let it fully heal before I get back out there.Negs on sight for ShaneTMI.

Thanks man! Yeah find its pointless posting unless you're using the thread for what it's intended for if I screw up I include it in my log. Find the reason some people fail is that if they do screw up they get ashamed and want to fix it straight away before they post again, then they get into a spiral or a yoyo, never fix it and give up. Hence all the one page logs. If you record it, then its there, lesson learned and you can move on.
I'm feeling pretty good, think I'm hovering between 14 and 15% bodyfat around now. At 79 or 78 my definition should come more into focus. I'm thinking I might go past 79kg but not by too much. Maybe down to 77?

Thanks, yeah a few years (and several cuts) under my belt now and with everything basically still in lockdown for us keeping my calories in check with meal planning has been easy. For me I just drop my daily carbs from 350g down to 150g and slightly increase my TDEE through extra walking, everything else always stays the same so it’s easy to be consistent.
All it takes is consistency, effort, proper nutrition, good programming, and TIME.

Not a great week this week but still down over a pound so I'll take it. My wife's birthday was last weekend and I baked her a cake, so of course I had to help myself to 2 big pieces just to make sure it tasted good (it did).
Energy levels are surprisingly good, in fact I feel a lot more energetic and less sluggish than before. Hunger occasionally first thing in the morning and late afternoon, but it doesn't last long and isn't severe so it doesn't really bother me that much at all. I'm just going to keep on truckin' along, I don't plan on altering my calories or my plan at all and I'm going to just ride it out from here.

Whoops, missed last week's entry. That whole week I plateaued, fluctuating around where I was on the 8th. This past week, I made decent progress and got down a little lower than where I am now, but ate frozen pizza at a counted maintenance and soaked up more water. Like Alex was saying earlier, that's a little frustrating, but I still shouldn't get hung up on such minute fluctuations, since the calories were lining up on track and the other variables will swing slightly on such short notice. Still losing on the net, as I maintained last week and shed off almost another pound this week, but that's too slow, as someone with a good base of strength who's not untrained and still has a ways to go before getting to 20%.
Strangely, even at a deficit, I'm gaining strength on my big lifts, which is either a sign that I'm not reducing calories enough or the neural efficiency factor still has had a lot to offer.Bench: 350
Squat: 405
Deadlift: 505

Only negative is getting good workouts in right now. I prefer an actual gym and my home setup does what it does but between the fires and heat in NorCal... its been a toxic dump the last few days.
